 Quick Bio:
 Coloration: Gray

Likes: Livin rough! Cold air, mud. Undivided attention from humans, but only until he gets tired of it.

Pet-Peeves: Hates it when people walk right behind him

Favorite Toy: Everything that moves

Favorite Nap Spot: Anywhere cool... windowsill, tile floor etc.

Favorite Food: Good healthy food only, no snacks

Skills: Strategy and tactics: Charlie "herds" the other cats and tries to block access to humans. Serious growling while sound asleep.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story: One summer we noticed that a young skinny gray cat was living under our hedge. He had been abandoned by neighbours and was roughing it quite happily, but started to make friends with us. As the summer drew to an end, it only made sense to bring him in to meet the other cats. He quickly gained weight, turned into the alpha cat in the household, and runs the roost.

Bio: The family who eventually abandoned him, originally found him being whirled around in a plastic bag by a little boy in a parking lot. They "confiscated" Charlie, and gave him a place to live, if not a home. Even though they later abandoned him to his own devices, I am grateful that they at least had the heart to save him from that cruelty.

That’s right, I am a simple gray cat (do not adjust your monitor)! Not like my 3 vain sisters, who are not exactly, umm, DOGS, if you know what I mean. That’s fine for them, but I have more serious matters to consider. For instance, gray is a very useful color for me to wear, as it does give me the tactical advantage in sticky situations. At night I become invisible, even to my sisters, who should know what to expect by now. I can glide around in the darkness at will, and execute my battle plan, which I like to call “Shock and Paw”. Those sisters of mine never know what hit’em!!
This morning I had a game of Toll Booth. It's great! I sit at the top of the stairs and wait for my sisters to try and sneak past me to get food. Heh, heh, heh. “STOP- PAY TOLL!”. If they let me chase them for a while, they can go thru!
Oh, I nearly forgot…. I gave mom one of my classic HISSSSes today. Well, she was walking right behind me, which she knows I don’t allow. To my surprise, she hissed right back at me. A good one, too. (I have to admit, her accent is getting pretty good!) Eventually, I hope to have the humans in this house trained properly. For now, not so much.
Uh-oh! Must run just now, there is a squirrel outside the window and it requires my immediate attention. Bye for now, and I hope to see you again in the gray area!
