Here’s the skinny on feline skin health: The skin owns bragging rights as your cat’s largest organ, with the liver coming in a distant second. In fact, the skin can represent one-fifth of your cat’s body weight.
It’s normal for a cat’s eyes to appear moist, and a little bit of wetness on the fur around the eyes or in the corner of the eye is normal. Constant or excessive tearing, however, is not a normal finding and should definitely be investigated by a veterinarian.
