Friday, March 1 – Friday, March 29
Do you know a student entering 6th through 8th grade interested in becoming a veterinarian? By entering the Become a Veterinarian Camp Contest, she or he will get the chance to win one of three coveted spots at Auburn University’s Junior Vet Camp from July 14 through 19, 2019, which includes free tuition, meals and housing. The three grand prize winners will learn about veterinary medicine firsthand in classrooms, laboratories and outdoor facilities, plus public health, food, animals, wildlife, anatomy, X-rays and first aid, as well as gain valuable mentoring about veterinary science careers while on the campus in Auburn, Alabama. To enter, students can share their personal story on why they want to become a veterinarian and include a photo of them helping or enjoying time with animals. Students, with the help of their parents, can enter the contest at vetsetgo.com/about/become-a-vet-camp-contest between March 1 and 29, 2019. Every student who enters receives free access to the Vet Set Go “Become a Veterinarian” quiz, which helps identify personalized recommendations for each aspiring veterinarian to gain professional experience (ARV: $19.00). Contest created by Royal Canin, a global leader in pet health nutrition, and Vet Set Go, the first and only community dedicated to aspiring teen and tween veterinarians.
