More precisely, Nubbins was born without hind feet. And this plucky puss is hoping to find a furever home. After weeks spent learning to walk, he’s ready for adoption.
This was something he was born with. Its a deformity that he has and that he overcomes all the time. He loves to play, said Meagan Rock of the MSPCA Boston Adoption Center.
Nubbins would love to live in a house that is mostly carpeted. Thats a big requirement. He should also go to a home that has the ability to have a relationship with a veterinarian so that his weight is monitored regularly and if he does have any trouble with the calluses on his feet that those are taken care of as well, said Rock.
Despite what would appear to be a debilitating birth defect, Nubbins has completely adjusted to walking normally.
He doesnt wear boots. He has calluses at the end of his legs and that seems to be enough to keep him healthy Nubbins lives for the moment and he is a happy little guy, said Rock.
