The Tragedy of Stray Cats The stray and feral cat population is estimated to be almost 100 million in the United States alone. Uncared for, homeless cats lead lonely, miserable lives, but will breed at alarming rates. 95% of the kittens adopted by Americans are the direct offspring of stray and feral cats. You will see the tragic consequences of cat overpopulation at any American animal shelter, most of which are overcrowded and underfunded. This video documents just some of the hundreds of kittens and cats my three friends and I have rescued off the streets and adopted out to loving homes. We ALL can make a difference in the life of a homeless cat.
The Homeless Ones I made this video to raise people's awareness of the sad plight of homeless companion animals, especially cats and dogs. It is my hope that after viewing my video, you will find it in your heart to adopt a homeless pet or volunteer some time and effort with a shelter or rescue organization. And, altering ALL cats and dogs really does help the overwhelming problem of pet overpopulation. My best wishes to all the wonderful people who do give up their time and lives to help stray and homeless cats and dogs. The images used in this video are my original creations, and are a combination of two or more photos and then worked on in PhotoShop.
