If you saw the shaven-headed, tattoo-covered Jackson Galaxy walking down the street, you'd never imagine that he makes a living as a "cat whisperer." But when Animal Planet's new show premieres in May, viewers will have the opportunity to watch him in action.

"My Cat From Hell" is a three-part miniseries that will begin on May 7 at 9 p.m. Eastern and Pacific time. In each episode, Galaxy will visit the home of a cat guardian struggling to figure out why their cat is acting out and make the behavior stop before the relationship is destroyed by the felines' aggressiveness and even violence.

Galaxy will bring his 15 years of experience as an animal behaviorist, and training techniques honed by working with private consultants and shelter cats, to the rescue.

The series will follow Galaxy as he works not only with cats but with their owners as he counsels them on how to deal with their feisty felines' behavior and change their home environment to minimize the cats' stress level.

In one episode, Galaxy will work with a woman who moved cross-country to live with her boyfriend, only to find that his cat apparently hated her and was going to do everything in his clawing, hissing power to get her to leave.

In another, a fianc finds himself in a terrible bind when he has to deal with his bride-to-be's cat and its dangerous habit of randomly going from calm to "psycho kitty."

I truly believe that I can walk into anyones home and use my special skills to resolve their cat issues, whether caused by the owner, the feline or both, says Galaxy. If itkeeps one cat out of a shelter or off the street, I know I have done my job.
