Cats Make Great Nurses, Don't They?

Moo keeping watch from his nurses station.

I got three wisdom teeth out yesterday. One had been hurting for the past few days and I told myself that if that ever happened, they're all coming out. (I'd already had one out and I refuse to go through this four different times!)

Lucky for me, I have two fabulous furry nurses at home, ready to snuggle me back to health! Pimp and Moo make the best nurses.

Even if they can't cook for me or help clean or remind me to take my pills, they make up for it in making sure I'm comfortable. And that's a big part of being a nurse, right?

It probably helps that my cheeks are a little swollen and I look like kind of like a chipmunk. Cats love chipmunks and squirrels. I'm probably way more interesting to them like this.

Whatever their motivation, I know Pimp and Moo are going to be by my side through all of this while I get better. They won't take their eyes off me and I'm sure they'll give me extra love and rubs. I'll probably even heal faster because of their tender, loving care.

Now if I could just get them to scoop their own litter boxes this week...

What do you kitty nurses do for you when you're sick or hurt?
