Arrival Story:
I was walking my puppy, Dusti when she was around 2 months old. We walked further than usual and a little tiny grey tiger kitten came out and started following us. His belly looked fat, but his body was really skinny so I assumed that someone had fed him but he seemed to be stray/not getting regular meals. He was afraid of the puppy and she was very interested in trying to check him out, so it was quite an ordeal to try to make everyone walk in a straight line. I figured if the cat was that determined to come home with us, we would take him in. Then another kitten, a black tuxedo kitten came out and started following the tabby kitten. She was even more skiddish, but willing to follow her brother (I assume they are siblings) Then a car went by and they both ran into the bushes. I walked the dog home and came back for the kittens. They lived inside for most of their first year, both were spayed or neutered around 7 months of age, and their second summer they started going in and out.
