Arrival Story:
Tex was one of a litter of six born to a feral kitty I call "Trixie." Tex was the only one of the litter that was gentle enough to adopt, and I fell in love with him the moment I saw him. He moved into the house in stages as he became more and more domesticated. He had just become a full time house kitty right before he was killed by a coyote on March 13 2009. He was out on the porch for a brief visit with his sisters--all of whom are still living on my porch, along with his mom.
