Review Summary

Ever since humans started keeping cats in their homes, the need for the perfect cat litter arose almost immediately. While cats are renowned for their exemplary litter habits, the stench of their waste is almost otherworldly. In addition to the pungent odor, cat waste can be incredibly messy.

Unfortunately, not many cat litters are effective at odor control and clumping the waste to make it less messy. As a result, for a long time, cat parents have been burdened with the unenviable task of cleaning their cat’s litter box and replacing the litter regularly. It’s not only tedious but also can run up a cost due to the frequent litter replacements.

In a bid to solve this issue, a group of scientists embarked on a project to create the ideal cat litter. This meant that the litter should be not only effective at odor control but also possess next-level clumping capabilities to make the waste less messy, thus requiring less maintenance while allowing the cat to use it for longer before it needs to be replaced.

Their efforts were successful, resulting in the birth of World’s Best Cat Litter. This revolutionary litter utilizes natural ingredients, such as dried corn, which is a highly absorbent material that forces both liquid and solid waste to clump together, resulting in a cleaner litter box due to less mess and waste.

The formation of tight waste clumps also makes the process of scooping waste a lot easier while also ensuring that cleaning the litter box becomes a hassle-free experience. What’s more, the World’s Best Cat Litter also has exceptional odor-control capabilities, ensuring you do not have to worry about litter box smells again.

So, is this product worth it? Read on to learn everything you need to know about World’s Best Cat Litter.

    World’s Best Cat Litter Reviewed

The following is a breakdown of everything you need to know about this brand. This breakdown will allow you to make an informed decision if you are considering purchasing cat litter from this brand.

Who Makes World’s Best Cat Litter and Where is It Produced?

The company goes by the name World’s Best Cat Litter. It was founded in 1996 when a group of scientists came together to work on a project to create the most effective clumping cat litter in the world. They used corn for that purpose, as it is not only a highly absorbent material but also biodegradable.

World’s Best Cat Litter is a U.S brand, meaning that all its products are designed and produced in the United States. The brand today has seven different litter formulas.

Which Types of Cats is World’s Best Cat Litter Best Suited For?

World’s Best Cat Litter formulas are designed to suit cats of all ages. This is because their formulas are not only dust-free but also pet, people, and planet-friendly since they are made from sustainable corn and do not contain added chemicals.

This means that even kittens, whose immune systems are not fully developed yet, can use World’s Best Cat Litter without their health being compromised.

Discussion of the Primary Features (Good and Bad)

For a company to call itself “World’s Best,” it must have gone out of its way to separate itself from the rest in terms of quality and efficacy. The World’s Best Cat Litter brand seems to have done just that.

Unlike most cat litter brands that utilize inefficient or low-quality materials, this company uses natural compressed corn to ensure a lightweight, easy-to-maintain, dust-free, pet-friendly, and environmentally-friendly cat litter. Compressed corn is also great at odor control, while its clumping action makes the process of scooping up waste a lot easier.

    cat beside cat litter box

The following are some notable attributes of World’s Best Cat Litter.

    Clumping Action

The World’s Best Cat Litter formulas form tight, hard clumps, thanks to the absorbent nature of compressed corn. The clumps do not crumble easily, allowing for easy scooping. According to most customers, compressed corn is far more effective at clumping waste than clay litter.

    Odor Control

Unlike other cat litters that use “special” ingredients for odor control, World’s Best Cat Litter only uses natural ingredients for that purpose, such as plant and wood fibers. However, one of their formulas is infused with lavender to enhance its odor-control capabilities.

The reason for insisting on only using natural products for odor control is to ensure that no harm comes to your cat’s health. However, corn and plant fibers are not as effective at odor control as agents such as activated carbon are.

This means that World’s Best Cat Litter might not be as effective at odor control as some other products on the market.

    Dust

As mentioned, World’s Best Cat Litter markets its litter formulas as being dust-free. This is true since concentrated corn does not disintegrate like other litter materials, ensuring dust-free litter. This means that you don’t have to fear for your health or for that of your pet.

    Ease of Scooping

As mentioned earlier, the absorbent nature of concentrated corn gives it a remarkable clumping action. The resulting large clumps are easy to collect, meaning that you will not have to empty the entire litter, resulting in cost savings.

    Price

Obviously, World’s Best Cat Litter is pricier than your standard run-of-the-mill cat litter. After all, it is a premium product. However, compared to other premium brands, World’s Best Cat Litter does not cost as much as they do.

Moreover, since its effectiveness means that you do not have to empty the entire litter box when taking out the waste, it might prove to be a budget-friendly option in the long run.

Reviews of the 3 Best World’s Best Cat Litter Formulas Reviews

The World’s Best Cat Litter brand makes seven different litter formulas. While all their formulas enjoy great customer satisfaction rates, the following three products are arguably the most popular of their offerings:

    1. World’s Best Cat Litter, Clumping Litter Formula for Multiple Cats

World’s Best Cat Litter, Clumping Litter Formula for Multiple Cats

This litter is designed for multi-cat households, thanks to its quick-clumping mechanism and how easy to scoop it is, making maintenance a hassle-free process.

The clumping litter formula comes in two forms: one with a natural scent, while the other is lavender-infused for better odor control. However, the scented version can be irritating to cats. A high concentration of lavender can make your cat sick.

We also appreciated how lightweight this litter formula is, meaning you will not have to break your back each time you have to replace the litter. Additionally, it is dust-free and environmentally friendly.

    Pros
    • Quick-clumping
    • Lightweight
    • Easy to scoop
    • Dust-free
    • Flushable
    Cons
    • The scented version can be irritating to cats

    2. World’s Best Cat Litter Attraction Action

World’s Best Cat Litter Attraction Action

Christened the “Attraction Action,” this litter formula is designed to lower the risk of your cat pooping anywhere else in the house by drawing it to the litter box. This is thanks to the inclusion of a natural plant-based cat attractant that is highly alluring to cats.

It also has an exceptionally soft texture, making it highly comforting to cats. This attribute also helps encourage the cat to visit the litter box whenever they want to go. Fortunately, despite having a soft texture, it is also quick clumping and easy to scoop.

The only issue with this litter formula is that it is prone to tracking.

    Pros
    • Soft and comfortable texture
    • Encourages cats to use the litter box
    • Long-lasting
    • Eco-friendly
    Cons
    • Tracking is possible

    3. Zero Mess by World’s Best Advanced Cat Litter

Zero Mess by World’s Best Advanced Cat Litter

While all the World’s Best Cat Litter formulas are designed to be quick-clumping to avoid messes, the “Zero Mess” takes that attribute to the next level.

The formula uses a patented blend of plant fibers and whole corn kernels to create a super-absorbent litter. In addition to its ultra-fast clumping action, this formula is also great at odor control. What’s more, it is also septic-safe, meaning you can flush it down the toilet when you want to dispose of it.

Unfortunately, this formula is susceptible to tracking.

    Pros
    • Ultra-fast clumping action
    • Utilizes natural materials
    • Great odor control
    • Dust-free
    • Septic-safe
    Cons
    • Tends to track

We scoured the internet for user reviews on the World’s Best Cat Litter. We found that most customers are not only satisfied with the brand but also mention that the litter exceeded their expectations.

Nonetheless, there were a few complaints about this brand’s products. The majority of them revolved around the litter’s tendency to track. Other than that, user reviews on World’s Best Cat Litter are overwhelmingly positive. If you want to read some for yourself, check out these reviews on Amazon.

    Conclusion

The World’s Best Cat Litter brand does live up to its name. This litter has everything you want in what one may consider the ideal cat litter: it is made from natural materials, clumps quickly, is easy to scoop, does a great job at odor control, and is dust-free.

What’s more, it is safe for kittens and senior cats. What more could you ask for?

While it might be considerably pricier than standard cat litters, World’s Best Cat Litter still offers you a great value proposition. We highly recommend that you try it out.

    1. researched and tried this for my 12yo Maine Coon. did ok except for the stench from collected waste in the waste bag. she's had UT issues for 4 months, going outside the box and very seldom. like 1x every other day. Tried everything.. meds, cranberry extracr, special diet. TODAY vet suggested try different brand of litter. I was skeptical but got something else, cleaned everything well and got almost immediate results IN the box.. I'm convinced this is NOT the besf for her.. Won't be using again.

      1. Thanks for sharing your experience L Lane. Every cat is unique, and not every litter works for all cats. We are happy to hear your cat is using the litter box and is healthy again.
