My dear friend Lily I miss you so already. You were so full of love and life. I hate the evil people who did this to you and they need to get a cruely to animals charge. Maybe one day I'll be able to go back to that house and visit your little grave by the creek. I loved you so. I'll miss you waking me up grooming me. I'll miss having you curl up and sleep by me. I'll miss you bouncing off the walls. I adored you my sweet little Lily Cat. You are so sorely missed and I knew before Mother and Meli Mom accepted it. They had a bad feeling when you stopped yowling, had such a bad feeling but didn't know for sure until the house owner found you and buried you. You were so very loved and so very full of love and warmth for others my sweet sweet friend. When we got to the new place, I refused to come out of my cat carrier and Mom knew but she had to keep going over to call you. Then when she saw the spot on the porch where you had come down, she knew and went no more. She's so sad. We're all so sad. I will miss you so my beautiful friend as you take your well deserved place amongst the angel cats my beloved soul mate who I stole away from all the other cats, my light. Fly down and comfort me sweet angel cat.

FIRE!

We're at another house tonight & they are allowing us the use of their computer so that I can tell you that we were in a fire today & we are at a very nice neighbor's & not at our house. Don't know what caused it yet just that we had had to go offline due to a thunder storm with lightning that had flickered the power off & on so I didn't get to post at Billie Bob's place this a.m. & Meli Mom & Mother had not slept the night before so they lay down as we did to nap & LillyCat is a siren & alarm onto herself & awakened us yowling her head off & Mom realized the power was off & smelled something strange & went downstairs & realized that smoke was all over the place but the smoke detectors were already on their second alarm by that time & this time they were not quitting were going off constantly so that they were going off when Meli Mom sent Pinto & Dion down the hall to get Mother & she was screaming all of our names & worrying about our semi feral Siamese friend down the hall but we had to get out & she did know that one of the boards had fallen from around the air conditioner window unit so that if he was desperate he could jump push & another piece would fall & he would be out but he didn't & Mom saw him in the window later. She ran outside with me in her arms, Mother on her arm, Pinto on his leash that she had grabbed, her purse that was by her & the phone which she had grabbed when she ran to call us & called from outside & when she ran to the side of the house she made Mother get off the porch because smoke was black against the downstairs driveside windows & beginning to bellow out & then flames shot out the cracks around the windows & she realized this was for real & not just smoke. We're all safe though she had to go get Dion who took off & LillyCat but they're safe & so is our semi feral friend and the entire house isn't destroyed just a basement area & all the clothes in storage there most of which were being sifted through to be given away & smoke & water damage in the basement & the side windows are gone & they said part of the ceiling upstairs somewhere so I guess right above that area of the basement & other damage.Some good neighbors asked us to come & stay with them & we really appreciate it & thank God that no one was hurt. Pee Wars

Sometimes we’re mad with Mom & sometimes the dogs & sometimes just at each other or we’re marking territory around Mom as ours & the dogs have the fear of someone called Alpha Dog in their blood & bones they say so they stopped peeing on top of our pee, but we don’t know this Alpha Dog & wouldn’t recognize him or her if we did because we’re cats. Mom finally sought help online & so I include one of the links. Though I do get ahead of the story what Mom has found works is the peroxide with towels to sop it up & then to deep clean with the rug cleaner with a little Oxy Clean mixed in with the rug solution, but keeping us from going on the rug again? Well, we don’t much care for the peroxide, but will go on top of it after it dries & the rubbing alcohol suggestion didn’t work cause we find that a strong challenging might be another pet smell so a little Pinesol on a four square folded paper towel tacked to the carpet or straight pinned to it keeps us away as that stuff must be from Mountain Lions though Takoda Crow insists it’s tree pee & that the trees might pull up their roots & come after us or might come to life when we try to climb them outside & give us a hard time like the tree in a movie The Wizard of Oz that threw apples at people.

What happened? Mom kept moving us for one. We would try to walk on the computer keyboard & she was trying to get the computer fixed, trying to do it herself doing different things & trying different things but it was getting worse & worse & she wasn’t happy with us jumping up onto the computer table & putting our paws all over the keys & walking on different buttons & messing up what she was doing though I cross my paws across my heart that we did NOT break the computer in the first place. What we were trying to do was help Mom fix it, but we weren’t helping, and well, okay we wanted some attention too! So Mom would get annoyed & fuss & she was just so very grouchy & put us down on the floor so I admit I started it over the computer (not on it under the table) but not elsewhere -- we were already peeing in other places, but I’ll cover that one another time. One day I got so mad at Mom that I jumped down from her lap & walked under the computer table & squatted as near to her feet as I could & just peed all over her feet just let it rip & wasn’t finished when she got down on the floor & reached under that computer table & grabbed me, so I hissed at her & let her know how I felt about the interruption & she thought I was done, but I wasn’t -- I ran off a little way & crawled back under the table from the other direction & sneaked back to her feet & started peeing again. Oh Wow! Was Mom ever mad! Mom grabbed me again & picked me up (& I’m not a light guy either!) & she held me up my face to hers & she just fussed at me & hurt my feelings. You weren’t paying any attention to me Mom & I expect attention exactly when I want it -- unless you’re cooking or playing with one of the household monsters or mopping & then I understand because that might cause the monsters or the mop to come after me & I don’t want that to happen. Have no desire to get sucked into one of those monsters! Then every time I wanted Mom’s attention & she ignored me, why I just crawled as close to her feet as I could get & peed even on the pillows she keeps on the floor for her feet, the throw pillows & old bed pillow in its tapestry coverlet & the dogs found out it wasn’t okay for them to (a) follow suit & pee on top of my pee requiring me to pee again to mark my territory and that is part of it: sometimes I’m just marking my territory to let the dogs know that at Mom’s feet on the cushions under the computer is my place & trying to let Lilly Cat know the same! (b) lick the pee & try to help Mom clean it up this way causing them sometimes to pee spontaneously on the kitchen floor right after as cat urine is much more foul & stronger than dog urine. Lilly Cat has also peed to let Mom know that removing her feet from the computer keyboard is not acceptable, but I’ll let her tell her own version of the pee wars, which I’m sure she will try to blame all on me!

Might not go to part two of the pee wars tomorrow as there are more pleasant topics such as my escape into the great outside yesterday evening & playing outdoors & shrimp & taking over the house & better cat topics such as the ones I just mentioned. Need to start visiting my groups again now that Mom has done hours & hours of updates & just slews of downloads & re-adding programs & etc. Maybe she’s just caught up enough that we can play a little more on Catster (& maybe the dogs will not dominate the computer all the time!) but that’s all for now.

Getting rid of pee stains

To copy & paste in your address bar == you could try checking Catster too remembering that cat urine is highly more toxic & noxious than is dog urine! Cats rule on territorial markings! Mom says that we shouldn't be proud of this accomplishment or call it an accomplishment. At least the house smells much better to her now & actually to all of us cats including Crow Raven (he will have a page soon!) since the very large monster that spits water & cleanser all over the carpet & then sucks a bunch of it back up (EEWWW! It's drinking dog piss!) cleaned up all that nasty dog drool & dog pee! I mean who would want dog pee in their house? Why do humans have such a problem with our noxious urine, the cats urine too? Smells good enough to us & lets other cats & those bad dogs know to stay out of our spots & gets the message across to Mom that we demand attention now or don't appreciate being removed from the computer keyboard ....

Mreow! It's been almost a month since I've meowed & rrowred in my journal! We've been down over three weeks & got hacked so we just weren't online. Missed Catster & missed curling up in Mom's lap or partially in her lap while she typed for me. Of course, she got annoyed when I walked across the keyboard & tried to type my own entries when I'm not familiar with the keyboard & which keys type what, which started up the pee wars again, but I will save that one for another entry. For now we're back online & just wanted to Rrowr & Purr to my furiends & let them know we're back! Mom says she's going to be very busy trying to re-update the computer since it had to be erased & recovery checked to make sure it didn't have the brand new virus, but we will be off & on Catster & Dogster in the next few days stopping by our groups & paw mailing our furiends & checking up on our furiend's pages & making sure they're in good health & doing okay. Hopefully, the antivirus & antispyware & firewall products will research & learn about this virus & do some captures so that it can be brought down before it hits too many more computers. Nothing to fear from ours now as it was wiped clean. This Trojan & Hack & Worm & Virus eats through your computer degenerating everything into machine code & the first thing it hit was our ISP programs so we couldn't get back online & then it hit our help menus so that they couldn't be used. Can you read machine code & computer encoding? We can't!!!! Mom had some computer code classes more than 20 years ago now & so all of her knowledge would be way out of date as technology has greatly advanced in the past 20 years!!! We just shut down finally & left the computer off until we could get someone to check it out after Mom realized no way that she could fix it herself & no way that she could check the help menus even for help on the problem, but luckily recovery was fine (that's what happened to Windows XP before we got a new computer two years ago now -- the trojan & hack & worm & virus ate through recovery so that it couldn't be restored plus they were already saying, Microsoft was, that they wouldn't support XP for too much longer so we just got a new computer) & so everything could be reformatted & restored. We do have back up disks & a copy of our old programs & screens with the warning USE AT YOUR OWN RISK as unknown what's infected so even trying to bring up old photos could re-infect the computer. Mom just wrote down what info she needed from certain docs & programs & moved on & we just lost EVERYTHING on the old computer. This one actually isn't new but recovering has made it almost like new & it's just amazing says Mom as the screen colors became more vivid & brightened & we can now use IE with add on's again though we don't have as many add on's & just absolutely amazing how much better it works!!!! Wow it's almost like brand new again & Mom is very happy about that one.

Pounding on the Door!

Yes, I know -- we went to a just purrtastic party this weekend on Friday @ Dogster Junction but I will meow & purr about that one later. Also went on a cruise to Australia on C&D cruise lines this weekend, but I'm all dressed up still & we didn't get to go to the P*I*F party because we had company a man & Daddy Rob so he didn't get to go to the party either & David Dad fell asleep & so didn't go, was waiting for us & we never could get in touch with him to let him know we had no idea when we were going to make it so for Thomasina & Takoda Crow & Caelian Kian to go ahead & go & maybe he could give a meow or two for us & start the barking for the dogs as it got later, but couldn't even get on the computer to let him know. Couldn't very well say to the company oh, time for you to go because we have a Catster party to attend -- and what if he didn't know what that was & he wanted to go too? How to explain it? Okay you just keep talking & I'll be rude & go online now might be a couple of hours, but you're not that important & you can just wait, okay? No, we missed the P*I*F annifursary party the one year mark. Oh well. Looked like they had good food & fun & dancing -- formal party -- if a little trouble with the Imeem music loads.

Pounding? How dare they send me to my room! Don't care if we have company or if they're going outside or what they're doing! I roam the house at will most of the time now & if Lilly Cat gets to stay out almost all the time then so do I! She will not have more territorial rights than do I! I will pound this door down I will! Up on my back feet. Front feet knocking against door. Knock Knock Knock! Pound Pound Pound! You will let me out of this room & I mean it right now! You can't keep me in here! I am the master of this house as far as cats are concerned! I must be allowed out to control Lilly & to protect her from the roughness of the dogs too, of course. NOW! I mean now! Okay I have pounded my poor feet my paws sore nearly raw so it's head butt time. Boom Boom BOOM! Okay now I have a headache so it's time for the big guns: backing up & running flying leap into the door & another one & again. Door opens & I take off flying I'm running so fast & under the nearest piece of furniture to do surveillance on the dogs. After all, I am an Inspector so I'm good at investigating. Aha! Time to alert Mom! They're sneaking to our cat food bag & snatching mouthfuls of our food! RRrrowwrrr like a cat siren! RRRROOOWWWRRR! MOM! They're stealing our food again! Good Morse says Mom & pets me & I lead her to the trail of food. Are you hungry Morse? Then she notices the trail goes up the stairs to the dining room where the dogs hang out near the air conditioner & rotating (oscillating) fan -- BAD DOGS! You come HERE NOW! sez Mom. You've been eating the cats food again. Cerberus aka Pinto Paint glares at me & gives me a snort like I'll be seeing you later Morse. Just you & me! Hey Cerberus. I may be big but I can run fast & I can head butt you in the side like I did last time & take you by surprise! Sound of squeaking cat. Lilly Cat on the floor & Pinto & Dion taking turns pressing their paws against Lilly to pin her to the floor to make her squeak. Me running and trying to intercept & dogs pressing me to the floor both at once to make me squeak -- no fair! Two against one! Lucky I can hiss & Rrowr & Mreow very loud! RRRROOOOWRRRR! MRRREEEOOOOW! DOGS! Mom's voice. What are you doing to the cat? Dion takes off running at top speed & scoots under the table & then slowly comes in wagging her tail like I didn't do nothin' -- what's up Mom? What's Pinto done now & giving Pinto a look. Dion's a sneak! She is very good at getting Pinto in trouble & sloughing all blame away from herself but not this time & both dogs got and earful of Humanese from Mom! Pinto has taken to trying to chase me into my room & trying to paw the door close or running to get Mother person & getting her to shut the door & then the whole pounding cycle starts all over again! Nothing you can do dogs! I'm out in the house to stay. Purr. Purr. Purr. PUUURRRR.

Chatty Cats Cat of the Week!!!!

Thanks to Chatty Cats for making me Cat of the Week!!!! I am proud & pleased & happy & honored to be the cat of the week there. Have started trying to wrest the dogs off the computer again as they seem to think they own it, by sleeping right under Mom's computer chair to remind her that I need some time and so do the other cats on the computer box! So love to play games at Chatty Cats & chatter to the other cats in other words meow, talk though summer is a little slow everywhere & finding it hard to make it to all groups when more than a few furs at a time are hanging around even the larger groups & know it's because summer is moving fast toward its end toward fall & all are trying to gather & store as much sunshine as possible for the coming Fall months when the sunlight changes & then for the Winter darkness beyond Fall.

Of Catfish, Mermaids, Dolphins, Scuba Gear, & Kung Fu- Tigers....

Have so much catching up to do, but yes, talking about meowing about Kitthaven Estates Swim party for Beckham & Emma for their birthdays & for the annifursary of Augie & Princess Nikki but was her present to him & he received a Ferrari. Really she needs jewels in exchange for her thoughtfulness I do believe -- not cat married yet myself & don't want to scare Alexandria XCat away, more skittish about marriage than me, but jewels are in order for that great car Augie if you're reading this entry. Wonder what kind of jewels Alex (Xan) wants -- something to set off her fur, definitely. But I digress -- great party & the cats got cars! Yes cars! for their birthdays, can you believe Ferrari's? One for Augie the annifursary boy of the second year wedding annifursary. One for Beckham. Then Emma received a dune buggy jeep thing & everyfur went out for a spin on the adjoining beach by the pool at Kitthaven Estates. Yeah, Thomas, I'm with you on that one (wasn't it you who meowed it?) about the next party there needs to be a Beach party & we can all go out swimming in the ocean & have fun on the beach & maybe take a boat out deep sea fishing for one of those quick tours.

Had great fun & stayed in the pool much of the time just chilling & cooling down & enjoying the water. Was at the edge of the pool when something yanked my tail & pulled me under suddenly -- was a Kung Fu Tiger cat from Kung Fu Panda. Bit confused he seemed to be to me vaulting all over the place leaping & jumping & spanning but might have been due to his new HuCat status as his like to call the crosses between cats & humans -- oh that's right he wasn't a HuCat but rather a cartoon character tiger. At least he had some fun adjusting to his new form & being out of the angel wings for a day or so. The Catfish, however, kept everyone entertained & amused the clown fish orange & white with the little Himalayan cat faces of Shane Ladd & Shaun the Great & the names both from the movie Finding Nemo as they were both Nemo fish & just cute as two little fishies cat could be nibbling on food underwater & on toes & swimming around & visiting & swimming with the dolphins Mouser brought with him. What cute little kitties! Oh yes Little Emma did call you "Cat-fish" & that is cute funny. Wish you could have changed form long enough to go on a dune buggy ride down the beach -- I didn't get to go either but would have been fun! Wish that I had brought my dolphins this time, the above water ones not underwater like Scuba Diver Mouser's & then could have taken off with all of you & the MerCat Maggie? Magpie right, chattering, at the end of the night. Oh, that party seemed so short especially with all that wonderpurr grilled out food they had of marinated grilled swordfish & grilled tuna & grilled salmon & grilled lobster & of course the dog's favorite the grilled steaks & hamburgers as the dogs do seem to prefer the red meat best! Then would have just loved to swim around a little while longer too & wanted to go over & have some mreows with that pretty black cat Agnes Endora who seemed to hang back. After all, Alexandria XCat hasn't been on Catster yet plus she hasn't been around lately. Her people are on vacation & seems like it's been forever & before that they were getting ready for vacation & before that preparing the house for vacation so been awhile. Do miss you dear Alex, but that witch cat is just, don't know something mesmerizing about her eyes there & the way she twitches her tail tip & stares at me. Witch cat? Hmm. Maybe I should proceed with caution as I wouldn't look good as a toad at all. Maybe I could tell her about the bats that fly around in this area since she seems to like bats...

Darkness Falls! The Sci Fi Party!

First Robin Hood's WoofDay party -- wish that the cat darn thing had let us post & that our screens had come up so we could read it at the time, but it wouldn't! Agree with some of our friend cats that the dogs are all spastic and tongue hanging about the whole thing & that we should just pretend that we were at the party the whole time because yes, we were trying to be at the party! We didn't get to read it until later & it looked good & hope cats that be that if this is a Dogster / Catster thing that it is straightened out before the Kitthaven MeowyDay party for Beckham this upcoming weekend! Know that one time before when this happened they said it had to do with the coding on the group page & changed coding but have no idea whether Dogster Junction has played with codes to decorate the page or not, so hate to speculate. Also something about having to set things in advance when the group is going to be open but again hate to speculate & don't know how far in advance it has to be set to be open. Noticed reading back thru that even Robin Hood got bounced from his party once so... anyway reading thru it was a great party!

Darkness -- Mom has been slowly acclimating me to life without a light at night. Although she does say she is going to replace my nightlight bulb, she keeps forgetting and says she still has some bulbs stored somewhere but keeps getting sidetracked looking for them. So the light has been off for longer & longer time periods at night after dark & I'm adjusting and starting to enjoy the dark time. After all we still have streetlights outside that do provide some light to the room, a little anyway. Have learned to prowl around my room in the darkness and know the room well. Better nap time at night too in the darkness & the monster hasn't been back yet, so I'm good! Not that I couldn't take the monster on & win, but just that I would rather do without the thing that breathes in the room that I can't see, can only sense! Have some times without the lamp in the day time too on lighter days and so I get natural daylight which I prefer. Mom laughed because last time she turned on the lamp, I hid from the glare of the bulb. It does have a shade, but I don't like that light shining down on me, so I have found new places to nap where there is no glare from the bulb so she turns the light back off when I fuss & rrowr & mreow at her because I don't like that light in my eyes! My fur is getting prettier & softer with some time away from the artificial light too! Well the dogs are still outside so need to get back to prowling around the house & supervising Mom on the computer for awhile. I'm not going outside cause I don't feel like wearing that stupid harness leash thing today!

It's at 5 p.m. Dogster / Catster Time on Saturday, this weekend August 8th, 2009. I've already got my costume and I'm going as Darth Vader and can't convince Mom that I need about five different Darth Vader pictures so that I can change during the party! But I do have the one and am looking forward to playing at Robin Hood's WoofDay / Birthday party. The Ice Cream Social @ Kitthaven Estates Sat. July 25, 2009

The event was Ginger Belle’s birthday @ Kitthaven Estates (Welcome to Kitthaven Estates) an Ice Cream Social and it was fun with all the different ice creams and wish we had made the birthday dinner later in the week, but we didn’t check back at Kitthaven until after the party. Since all of us wanted to meow or bark about the ice cream social, I will save some of the treats for other family members or cats on our pages diaries because it was just the most wonder purr bestest Ice Cream Social ever and too bad there was so much bad weather and so many computer problems cause this is one of the nicest group of cats and dogs and the parties there are fun and full of food and fun. Tayla did a bunch of the tasting menus for Bailey & Duncan’s wedding and that’s around the time we joined Kitthaven because they had some of the wedding announcements and were doing the catering for that Jerusalem wedding and if Mom ever gets back to the Smilebox album and finishes it and some others she’s supposed to be doing for us, one of these days we will have photos of all of these events to share on our pages although this one would just be an ice cream album and better for you to view it yourself for now, but one day maybe …. Photos Mom!!!! This one was semi formal so all the lady cats looked lovely and the lady dogs in their nice dresses and the men looked great in tuxes or casual wear. We were having so many computer problems freezes and crashes and power problems too that day that we were late to the party and so had to run back "home" and change into our formal wear. Another thing we need Mom! You need to go back to the Kimi shopping center and get us some more clothes and things though Tayla at Kitthaven does make the loveliest dresses and swimsuits for the ladies and gents and doesn't charge, but if you want to join for Beckham's birthday and need a swimsuit it's best to put in a request enough in advance because Tayla does get swamped sometimes.

We had a great time eating and talking with cats & dogs going in and out as their computers froze and crashed and as the weather took power out, but still it was like being a kitten or puppy or kid in the ice cream shop and being told you could have anything you wanted and as much of it as you wanted so we had Ice Cream Sundaes and ice cream treats and ice cream cake and just all manner of good ice cream related sweets & their were drinks alcoholic and non alcoholic too!

The ice cream sundaes and first offerings were with beautiful photos:
Hot fudge sundae, strawberry sundae, French Mocha Ice Cream Sundae, Turtle sundae, hot fudge brownie sundae, banana split, sorbet in a coconut shell, ice cream cake parfait in a big trifle bowl, Italian ice cream, Italian ices, huge beautiful Gelatto sundaes in a lovely glass, spumoni, dome shaped baked Alaska, peach ice cream cake parfait, multi layered Mixed Berry Blast and there was loads more to come so we left stuffed full of ice cream even though every time we tried to post what we were having the computer froze! I had the Turtle Sundae of the sundaes and then some lovely Italian Ice Cream. Not just about the food, but all the great ice cream selections was just part of the fun of it all and it was, after all, an Ice Cream Social! Princess Nikki a lovely black cat (513200) did the ice cream sundaes selections and what a great job she did! The birthday party was for Ginger Belle Ginger Belle (513216) a lovely black & white kitty cat. She had a great birthday and her cake at the end was a cat's dream come true of a cake with a cat on top in decorative form and grey mice made of icing circling all around one layer. MOM! I want a mouse cake for my birthday!

This is just a wonderpurr group that we haven't been visiting enough but it's summer and we're not getting to any of our groups as much as we should, but this one is such fun! Not a party going on all the time, but just a great group of cats and dogs and oh, Dogster link because the name Kitthaven as in cats or kitty scared the dogs in our family at first but it is indeed a cats & dogs group! We had such fun at the pool party there on back early in the summer or was it late Spring? After Bailey and Duncan's Jerusalem Wedding which was just the greatest wedding! This is another pool party for the 15th of August a Saturday and so if you join you'll have a great time I promise you!
