Dear Diary:
Well, here we are in our new place. The car ride down was longggggg but mommie said that I was a VERY good boy! I stayed quit most of the way and every once in a while I'd say "mow, mow" (that's what I call mommie) just to make sure she was still awake.
This place is pretty kool! There's lots of windows, especially on the porch and a lot more room to roam! It was a lot better the first two days cuz the place was empty and we ran around like there was no tomorrow. Then yesterday all our stuff came and cluttered up the place! That's OK though cuz now there's lots of open boxes to investigate and that's keepin me purrty busy......
Mommie starts working wiff the cats on Sunday and I know she's excited. She seems a lot happier now and not so stressed out! I know this is good.
Apparently everyone in this building has cats! This could be interesting. Maybe I'll get to meet some of them and make some new furiends.....
Well, I need to get back to work helping mommie go thru the boxes. I'll write again soon.

Dear Diary:
What is all this fuss about moving? Moving smoving who cares? I'm happy where ever I am just as long as mommie is there.
Teddy's happy cuz he won't have to be locked up in a room anymore. Prissy's happy cuz she tinks we won't bother her anymore. Tao's happy cuz he'll have more room to reek havock. Me, I'm happy cuz I'm goin' wiff mommie.
So, I'm sure I will like the long hallway and the screened in porch and a window wiff a bird feeder in it again, but none of that really matters. Only mommie matters!

Here's how to play the game. It's summer time and there are lots of things to do during this time of year. We would wuv to hear what you like to do during the summer. List 5 things you like to do and then tag 5 furiends!
The things I like to do in the summer are.......
1. Stick my nose into the flowers mommie brings in and take deep breaths. They smell so good!
2. I luv when mommie keeps the window open! This way I can see the dumb squirrel better and hear all the summer time noises!
3. In the late afternoon, I like to lay in the high up window cuz the sun comes in there. Summer sun feels different than winter sun!
4. I like it when the occasional bug comes into our room! I jump around, do back flips, spring off the bed, crash into things and generally make myself look like an idiot! Gotta git that bug......
5. The last thing I like to do in the summer is move. This summer anyway! Mommie says that we will be moving to our own place sometime this summer! Yipeeeeee!!!!!!!! I can't wait.

Dear Diary:
As some of you know, on Sunday there was a gageation pawty for the girl upstairs. Lots of people were here and mommie even brought us down a little bit of the food as a treat! She's the best.
Mommie had to spend some time up there cuz her boy, his wife and the grandson were there. Apparently he's for real......Mommie brought him down to meet us and boy is he cute!
I was glad she did cuz up til now all we've seen of him are pictures. You know, the ones that are GLUED into the scrapbook! I was beginning to think that she was going out and taking pictures of some baby off the street and trying to pass him off as "the grandson." I'm glad to know she's not living some fantasy life....
She also went shopping yesterday and came home with another scrapbook. It's for us. She's gonna put all our purrrty pictures in it. It has a BIG red ladybug on the front.
Big problem though....These pictures will be glued into this book too! I think mom has found a way to keep me out of her pictures. Oh bother!

Dear Diary:
Mommy lit some candles today. I went over and sat in front of one. Candles have something called flames and they are so kool. Mommy says they're hot. MOL I made a funny.....As I sat there I saw all these colors. Blue, yellow,orange (like me), purple and red. It was soooo purrty. Flames dance around too. They flicker to the right, they flicker to the left, they go up and down. How awesome is that?
I stuck my nose close to it to see if it smelled as purrty as it looked. It did! Now to try batting my paw at it.......Opppppps, maybe I don't want to do that. Seems mommy was telling the truth. It's HOT!!!!!
Okay, lesson learned. Candles are to look at, not to play with.

Dear Diary:
Tonight I climbed up onto mommies chest even though THE BRAT Prissy was already in her lap. I put my nose up against her nose, my lips on her lips, my paw on her cheek, closed my eyes and started purrrrrrrrrring.
She said it was sooooooooo nice to have me back! She said that she was sorry that my nose got bent out of shape last week cuz she wasn't home very much.
What is she talking about? Last time I looked my nose is the same shape it's always been! Far as I know you can't bend your nose......You can wiggle it but bend it? I think she's gone crackers! Maybe she worked TOO hard last week.......
Hope this insanity doesn't last very long. Next thing you know she'll be telling me my head isn't on straight.........
Well, I gotta go. I need to check on her and make sure she's not delirious and has a fever.

My furend Pumpkin and I were meowing yesterday about his new brofur Sir Elton John. I asked him if he knew my other furend Sir Sonny Bono. Thought it might be nice if they got together and did a duet! Seems they are related!!!!!!
Apparently there will be a "concert in the park" today!
I wanna go, I wanna go!!!!!!!
Have fun today you guys. Maybe you"ll get a recording contract!

Dear Diary:
Today I hit the mother load!!!!!!! The humans that live in this house keep their photo albums on a shelf in our room.
Well, I squeezed myself down flat and was able to get behind the albums. BIG BUCKS, NO WAMMIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There were a whole mess of envelopes with guess what in them.....Yup, PICTURES!!!! Be still my pounding little kitty heart.
I went to town! Unfortunately in my excitement over such a good find, I took one out to remind myself of what a great day I'd had!
Mommy came home from work and found it and my stash....BOY WAS SHE MAD! She had to go and apologize to her friends. Luckily they're nice people and they didn't kick us out.
This was definately a purrific day for me!

My Darling Harley:
When you and your siblings came into the shelter I was soooo excited. I had always wanted an orange cat with six toes. You unfortunately did not have that extra toe but the minute I saw you it was love at first sight! I knew you were "the one." Not one day has gone by that you haven't been.
Your love and devotion surpass anything I could have ever hoped for. You are the perfect cat. We have been thru some hard times together but we always knew if we had each other everything would be all right.
I will love you for all eternity, my handsome Harley.

Dear Diary:
Mommies got a new "boy" in her life. Something called a grandson . If you ask me, I think it's a bunch of hogwash. Let me tell you what happened....
Apparently she's been takin' A LOT of pictures of him. Don't know cuz it ain't been happin' here!
She came home with another thing called a scrap book. Seems you glue all the dang pictures into this thing and then put a bunch of doo daddy things around the pictures. GLUE!!!!!!!! How in the name of God's green kitty world am I going to be able to get those pictures out of there?
When I went over to check it out, she shooed me away! ME, her loverboy. You remember me, I'm "the one."
WELL
Now she works on this dag gum thing upstairs {it's some place that's above our heads} and my chances of getting at it are, ohhh I don't know,
ZERO!!!!!
