Arrival Story:
Wolfie, or as he was known then Wolfie-kitty was hanging around my Cousin's place in NJ. She lives in a country area and people are often driving by and dumping animals :( She normally gets them spay/neutered and feeds the ones that stick around. At the time she had an older cat named Snowball in the house that didn't like other animals. And three barn cats that came with the house when she bought it. Wolfie ended up getting in a fight with Raven (one of the barn cats). Raven was a sweetie so she knows Wolfie started it. She ran out and yelled at them and Wolfie took off into the Woods. Shortly after she was in the woods looking for him to make sure he was ok. Basically she realized he needed to find a home. Oddly enough I was currently looking for a male black cat so I got him :) I was still in HS at the time I adopted him. When I went to college he stayed with my mom for a year and a half and then I got my own place and he's been with me ever since. My mother tried to steal him but I won! Its ok though because now she has two cats of her own.

Bio:
Wolfie really would rather be an only cat. He tolerates the other cats in the house, but he's not really happy about them. He gets along better with the dogs. He often sits on top of his scratching post and leisurely stretches out his claws and grabs a passing dog tail or bops another cat on the head. For this reason I am trying to only foster dogs. Right now I have two foster kitties I'm looking for homes for. I got the other three adopted YAY. I found a stray litter outside. I got the mother spayed and returned her to her feral lifestyle. The kittens are very displeasing to Wolfie though. Poor Kitty. I am working to get all the cats around my house spay/neutered before spring when kitten season hits again.
