Arrival Story:
Saw her in a mall pet store & thought she was the cutest kitten I had seen. I fought with my Mom to get her for 3 days non-stop, because of allergies she didn't want to get a cat. Finally she agreed & we got her. Named her Skye right then, & bought her a forest green collar with a bell.

She is a very one-person cat. Pretty vocal when she wants attention or is curious. She sleeps half on my pillow & shoulder every single night & has ever since we got her. She is a Tortieshell calico, purebred. She refuses to go outside which is just fine for us, we don't like to have indoor/outdoor cats. She wards off other cats in our front yard by hissing & growling at them through the window, she is protecting her turf! She doesn't mind ratties or hamsters, or even snakes. She is good with small children, surprisingly. She is very paranoid of any sound & will run & hide under my bed sheets when the doorbell rings.

Everywhere there are rats it seems! I don't know why Mom insists on owning rats, I mean.. I understand that they could be seen as cute & loving, but they are rats! I'll never understand Mom.. They make so much noise, always eating or knawing on something in their cages.... & get this!! I overheard her talking to John, & she is bringing home two new rats Sunday! Can't a kitty get a little peace & queit around here?! Not to mention, I prefer not sharing my Mom with others, kthx.

At least I don't have to talk with them, or play with them. What an annoyance that would be. *huff*
