Arrival Story:
I found Jasper through Petfinder.com on May 29, 2007. He was in Parkersburg, WV with his mom Jillian and his sister (who was adopted in two days!!!). On the shelter website, they mentioned a volunteer transport. I never knew such a thing existed but it gave me HOPE! I emailed them that I was interested in adopting Jasper. I kept believing and soon many people believed with me that Jasper would come to live furr-ever with me and Jobel. We told everyone our GOOD NEWS! We asked for help over and over again until OPERATION MIRACLE MANX came true on July 21-22, 2007!!!!! Never, never give up on your dreams!!!!

**** Please read my July 21-22 and 29 2007 Diary Entries for my HAPPY NEWS!!!!**** I'm an answer to Mom's prayers. It was so hard for her to lose her precious Zoe during the time of the cat food scare. Jobel was soooo lonely, so Mom went on a search. When Mom saw my precious face, the search was over. But how on earth would she ever get me from WV to NB, Canada? We have a "New Beginning" thanks to all the other cat lovers who helped us. Maine Coon Rescue and Catster Railroad and Dogster Railroad are filled with the BEST hero-transporters in the whole wide world!

Oh I am so very sad to write this Diary entry.

My whole family were welcomed to Catster by Captain.
Mom got to know other Moms in Captain's group called Pawrents!.

My heart goes out to my sweetie Scout who is Captain's sisfur.

Pawlease stop by the page of Captain(RIP 2006-2010) and show his furmily some love.

I'm freezing my tail off!

Oooops! Too late! MOL

Mom opened the patio door and I stood there for awhile cuz I'm a He Manx. I sure was glad when she closed the door again!

I'm gonna snooze today and only get up to gorge myself and take a potty break or two.

Brrrrrr! I can feel extra fur growing in to keep me warm during this cold snap! It's 20 degrees BELOW freezing!

I hope all my furiends are toasty warm today. Remember to give your Paw-rents a snuggle. They really appreciate it! It makes them PURR!

Mom's Favorite Whisker of Mine went AWOL

Would your Mom be sad over something like this? *shakes he-Manx head*

The story goes like this. Some time ago, Mom noticed that above one of my copper eyes, there was one BLACK whisker amongst all the white ones! Mom LOVED that whisker and was always grabbing me and squeezing me and hugging me - just so she could look at that whisker of mine! I'm sure that was the reason ...

Well yesterday Mom noticed my whisker was GONE! Now she wonders if it will ever return. I wonder if I'll get even MORE grabbing and squeezing and hugging while she looks for it to grow back! I'm not complaining ... *grins he-Manx smile*
