I found Jasper through Petfinder.com on May 29, 2007. He was in Parkersburg, WV with his mom Jillian and his sister (who was adopted in two days!!!). On the shelter website, they mentioned a volunteer transport. I never knew such a thing existed but it gave me HOPE! I emailed them that I was interested in adopting Jasper. I kept believing and soon many people believed with me that Jasper would come to live furr-ever with me and Jobel. We told everyone our GOOD NEWS! We asked for help over and over again until OPERATION MIRACLE MANX came true on July 21-22, 2007!!!!! Never, never give up on your dreams!!!!

I'm an answer to Mom's prayers. It was so hard for her to lose her precious Zoe during the time of the cat food scare. Jobel was soooo lonely, so Mom went on a search.
When Mom saw my precious face, the search was over. But how on earth would she ever get me from WV to NB, Canada?
We have a "New Beginning" thanks to all the other cat lovers who helped us. Maine Coon Rescue and Catster Railroad and Dogster Railroad are filled with the BEST hero-transporters in the whole wide world!

I got 3 emails yesterday telling me that someone had posted on my page.
Mom told me they aren't really from my Cater furiends and she called it SPAM.
Some of the comments were sent to my Diary entry from 2008!
Is anyone else receiving these emails? How did you get them to stop?
Actually the emails came from Dogster. 3 came over night.

I haven't been to Grand Paw's in TWO years so I really needed a holiday!
The first night I was so "wound up" I kept waking up Mom. After that I found so many things to investigate in the basement that Mom got the best sleep she's had in a long time. I'm not saying there's a connection between me and the amount of sleep Mom gets --- ok, maybe that's kind of true ... MOL!
The most EXCITING thing for me was ... I NEVER got car sick!!!!! Mom read on a website that car sickness for kitties and doggies can be caused by a build up of static in their fur. They suggested rubbing a fabric softener dryer sheet all over the surface of the fur. So Mom grabbed an unscented dryer sheet and rubbed it on my fur and I NEVER got car sick!!!! Woo Hoo!
Maybe now, I'll get to go to Grand Paw's more often! *grins*
