Oh my oh my oh my. I wish someone would rescue me from this house. Mother has been mistreating us again. Pushing us around if you can believe it. Disgusting!

Mother decided to get a special birthday present for herself again this year. Two years ago she got Kovo. I needn't remind you what a terrible thing that was. This time she decided she wanted a new front porch. (Are you rolling your eyes too?) Well, that work got done last week. A few days ago mother managed to fall off the step. I emphasize that she did not fall down a flight of stairs. She did not fall down "the steps". No, she managed to fall off the new bottom step and landed hard on her knee. (She fell up the basement steps once when she tripped on a Stinkie and landed on that same knee. Mwahaahaa!!!)

Mother has been hobbling around since then and has been pushing us around. I think it's because she's just mean and cranky generally. She says it's because it hurts to put pressure on that knee when she walks. Anyway, we like to gather 'round her when she's in the kitchen. Underfoot all the way! She usually just steps over us but now she slides her foot to push us out of her way. So disrespectful! Kovo gets the worst of it 'cause he loves to plunk himself right down in front of mother whenever she's walking around the house. She tells him she thinks he's trying to kill her as she pushes him aside. You go, Kovo!

Well, I hope this nonsense ends soon and mother returns to respectfully stepping over us again. Or I may have to DO SOMETHING to her. Mwahaahaa!!!

Pansy it is time to get the bros into action and take care of your Mommy! I can just imagine how much pain she is in. OUCH!! She needs tender loving care right now. I know you have it in you, Pansy!!

Oh your poor mom!!! You know her being injured might decrease how often you get your precious moist!! You cats gotta learn to jump onto the counter, not under their foot (The raggies loose fur all the time from that). Isn't Nurse Pansy going to help her mom?!?!?!

OUCH, your poor mother! Has she had it checked to make sure nothing's torn or broken? My mom stubbed her toe and landed really hard on one knee when she was bringing food to me in the middle of the night once. Moms can be so clumsy! After her foot and toes turned purple (along with her knee), she finally had it checked by a doc. You need your mother to be in tip-top shape, Pansy, so she can get to those cans of Wellness Chicken and Herring!

Tell yur mom ta put a trout on her knee pansy...sure it mite knot take de pain away but her wont have far ta walk ta get a snak....N seer ee iz lee, her mite wanna go two de vet ta get it cheked just ta bee on de safe side...her coulda torn a ligamint sumthin sumthin....

Good idea, Trout Towners! If it's a frozen trout, she can wrap it in a towel and use it on her knee like an ice pack, until it thaws. Then she has a snack, too! Maybe she could use herring instead, and then you could have the snack, Pansy!

oh sweetie you better step aside for her until she is able to step over again. I know I know it isn't right but better safe than sorry. Give her lots of TLC she needs it now.
Mom did that trip and fall thing last night in Galveston and then today she bumped the other knee HARD on the church pew so now they both are very tender, so we are giving her a break too.
