Mom came home from work, in the dark. She was distracted by many things including her nephew being gravely ill. As she drove into our carport, she saw a kitty on the doorstep. It was dark, but not too dark to see that it appeared to be me!
That is funny and cute, except we worry about kitties that wander about...sad to see that..and not too safe either... Yes, there is a batch of new ones running around. We think they all have homes as they look very healthy, but not safe to be loose out here. We have coyotes, cougars, bears, wolves, loose dogs, and, of course, cars. In our old neighborhood, there used to be a tortie that looked a lot like me, momma would always do a double-take. There a outside cat here that looks like me. he probably has a home as runs in the same direction all the time. Perhaps we all have look alike. Josie has a lookalike next door but they couldn't be more different type of cats in personality. I hope that little cat will be OK with all those scary creatures around. And sending purrs for your mum's nephew. Toby Meow, I hope this kitty who looks like you finds a nice home like yours. I hope your mom's nephew is okay! Thank you so much every kitty for commenting! Sounds like lots of us have look alikes trying to fool our Moms or Dads. All the kitties we see seem well fed and glossy, but Mom sure wouldn't let us run loose around here. Our nephew is still in very grave condition. Very sad. Thank you everyone for thinking of him. Prayers for your Mom's nephew will get better. Mom would not let any animal she cared about run loose. To many hazzards out there. Many purrs for your nephew. Just a thought the kitty isn't a missing kitty? Just that it can happen if we see a strange kitty around our house the human always checks on line to see if any missing ones match the discription. OMC you have an imposteur???? Wow, good thing your mama didn't fall for it! |
