We did it!

After breakfast this morning, Pixie and I had our pictures taken together in our pilgrim outfits. It was quite an adventure but we did it, and now we have a picture of us together on our pages!

Mercy and Riley had their pictures taken a few weeks ago during a dress rehearsal. The backdrop wasn't really what Mom had in mind for the final photo shoot, but I thought I would talk about the picture.

When Mom and Dad bought our house (their second house) about 12 years ago, they had a housewarming party. Mom cut out a tree with branches and leaves out of construction paper, and each guest signed their name on a leaf and stuck it on or around the tree.

Who would have thought something like that would end up being part of our photo shoot!

The Day I Turned into a Pilgrim

Someone was waiting for me to wake up from my six-hour nap today so she could dress me up as a pilgrim. I finally woke up about an hour ago. Pixie was pounding and crying at the door because she wanted to get in on the action.

Uh oh, I just gave Mom an idea! Maybe tomorrow she'll try to get a picture of the two of us in our outfits. That will be fun!

Bedtime Routines!

Pixie and I have a routine every night. We can tell when Mom is getting ready to go to bed upstairs, so both of us will get up from sleeping and race up the stairs! We always beat Mom.

I head straight for our bunk bed that is next to Mom's side of the bed and wait for her to crawl into bed. By then, Pixie is on the big bed ready to pounce on Mom's toes.

As usual, I have to walk back and forth on top of Mom for a long time, go stare at Dad, and then go to sleep on the bunk bed. All Mom has to do to get Pixie to stop biting her toes or Dad's toes is to put her under the covers, which makes her purr and go to sleep right away!

Then all is quiet for a minute or two, until Mercy, Pebbles and Reebok join us.

This is why it takes a long time before Mom can fall asleep!

INSIDE: Important health news and a special treat for Enzo!

That's what was printed on the box that I received today from the vet!

Inside the box was a trial sample of Royal Canin treats for young male, neutered cats, and a letter explaining how to "Help keep Enzo healthy after neutering".

I was neutered last year, but I guess they decided it was time to help me watch my weight. Well, I hate to remind them, but I'm actually about the same weight as my three sisters from the litter, which is 10-11lbs. However, Coco, my only brother from the litter, is 14lbs! Maybe I'll give these treats to him and see if he likes them.

I wonder how many more of these packages we'll be getting.

Save the Pants for Dad!

I just saw the outfit Mom *thinks* she's going to put on the boys for Thanksgiving pictures. All I can say is, she ain't putting them pants on *this* kid! I don't think they'd fit any of the boys in this family anyway.

Dad can continue to wear the pants in the family. Mom too.

Dad is Not Scary!

I'm still sleeping with or near Mom at night, and she thinks it's funny because now I walk over to Dad while he's sleeping and stare at him, just to remind myself that I have nothing to be afraid of! I'm brave!

Mom moved our bunk bed next to her side and if I don't plop down next to her after walking back and forth on top of her for what seems to her like 15 minutes, I sleep on top of the bunk bed where she can reach me.

I'm having lots of fun wrestling with Pixie! I'm her best buddy. I've always liked wrestling with the girls so I'm glad she was brought home just so I could have another girl to play with. She screams more than I do when we play but always comes back for more. Girls are fun!

Sleeping with Mom Again!

When Mom is in Pixie's room, I spend alot of time watching them through the French doors. Sometimes I cry because I want to be in the room with her and I want to play with Pixie. But as soon as Mom comes out I get so excited I start running around the house!

Now, after months of not sleeping with Mom at night because I decided that my Dad was really Godzilla, I am back to sleeping next to her because I miss her.

When Mom crawls into bed, I spend at least 10 minutes walking all over her, back and forth, purring, kneading, and giving headbutts. I make it really hard for her to fall asleep quickly, but she is patient and understanding and I guess she's missed me being there too. There are usually no more than three of us on their bed at night.

I wonder where Pixie will end up sleeping?

Enzo

Moonwalking!

I had to remind Mom of something tonight, and it has to do with the Litter-Robot.

I did the unbelievable once as a kitten, and Mom was my only witness. I jumped on top of the globe of the L-R just before it was going to cycle and was focused on what Mom was doing. When it started cycling I started moonwalking, just like Michael Jackson! Bet he's never done it on a Litter-Robot!

Mom thought it was hilarious, but unfortunately she didn't have the video camera with her. She needs to carry two cameras with her at all times.

How will anycat believe that I can dance!

Enzo

Mama's Boy

When Mom is in the computer room with Pixie, I sit outside the door and let out intermittent cries. Yes, I am a mama's boy, and it's not Pixie I don't like, it's that I can't go in the room.

For a couple of days, there was a gate blocking the door but it wasn't attached to the walls so I managed to push it out of the way a few times to get in and Mom had to put me back outside. She doesn't want any of us to eat her food or use her litter box. And now, Pixie can climb the gate, so the doors have to be closed!

I am so happy when Mom comes out of the room just so I can follow her around the house and butt the top of my head on her face so I can get my kisses and reassurance that I am still loved.

Just wait until Pixie starts running around with us permanently. I'll be pouncing on her just like I do the other girls in the family. I tried when Mom let her out with us for awhile but she was just too fast!

Love,
Enzo
