I'm Cat of the Day?

Wow! Thanks for all the gifts and warm wishes! And hello to my new friends.

To celebrate I went for a ride in the car on a quick errand with both of my people. Oh... And Gordie was there too. It was fun to sniff some new smells and stuff.

Something Weird is Going On

There's a CAT in the garage! He's been there since Tuesday. I saw him when my girl opened the door to go out there a couple of times. Oh boy. I think this is going to get interesting.

I DID IT! I went outside on my leash. At the park. By the river. IN THE CITY! I was scared, but sooooo curious. It was great, you guys! Check me out!

Microchipped

Today I got a microchip implanted between my shoulder blades. It was no big deal at all! They had my human filling out some paperwork and I was all implanted before she could fill out the third line. I haven't noticed anything weird feeling in that area or anything. I've already forgotten about it in fact. Human Mom says that it's in case we get separated she can find me again, but I don't plan on that ever happening.

Week after next my humans are taking me to the cabin for the very first time. They thought it would be a good idea to get me chipped before we went up there since I wouldn't be familiar with the area. They're going to take me outside on the leash for the first time too! I'm really excited because they told me that it's all quiet up there and there's lots of critters to watch. I'll be sure and write all about it when I get back.
