Do It Yourself Window Perch Instructions

My window perch is the most wonderful thing. I have written about it before. I do have to share it sometimes with the other cats. That's ok, I can find another nap spot. Everycat loves the window perch.
I think all of you would love to have your very own window perch. I think they were pretty easy to make. My Daddy made 2 real quick. Yes, they are easy to make so I will tell you all how to make your very own. Well, you should probably have a human make yours. My Daddy made ours and I didn't get to actually watch, but I think you will get the idea how to do it.
First, you measure the window that you want to put the perch. Then you get a sturdy, flat thingie, like a board, I guess. Now you take your tool dealie, that you can make holes with and you put 2 holes in the board thingie. Now, put some string, well not just old string, something stronger. It's good to rub my face on. Anyway, after you have some of that stuff, you pull it through the holes. Let me check, oh yes, tie knots on the bottom of the board thingie. You know with the string stuff. Make it long enough to reach up to the scratafratz deal that is up above the window. If you don't already have one up there, you will have to put one up there. That's to hang the string stuff on. Now, sometime you can put some blue carpet on the board thing. I don't know how Daddy did that. He must have used some sort of tool. He really likes tools. You can put your blue carpet on with some tool or maybe glue or something else.
Oh yes, and to hold the perch onto the window sill you will need 2 little whatchamacallits. I don't know, maybe you should put those on before the blue carpet. And one of the perches has some extra stuff to hold it up, because Tod is heavy. It is some kind of long tapey whatsit that sticks on the bottom of the board and the window sill.
I think that is pretty much how to do it. Have fun making one, you will love your window perch!
This was easy, maybe I will start other do it yourself projects for your people to make for you!

Things on my window

So much fun! There were things on my window today. I tried and tried to get them. They were just right there. I could put my paw on one and then it would slide down the window. They looked white at first then just like water. I never did get wet though.
My window perch is wonderful.

Hi! I wanted to tell about our new windowsill perch. My human Dad built it for us cats. It's covered in pretty blue carpet, and it's at a window on the south side of the house. It's so comfy to lay on, especially when it's warm and the sun's coming in. I also like to sit on it and watch birds outside. I've got some pictures of me on it on my page!

It's so nice here at my new home- there are lots of comfy places to sleep, lots of toys to play with, and I get brushed and petted a lot! I really like being brushed, it just feels so good! I like to bump my face against peoples' hands when they pet and brush me.

I'll meow you all later!

My nice, new home

I just woke up from my nap and decided to update my diary. I have a special secret place on the computer desk. I can go behind the little drawer and push it out and there is plenty of room for me to curl up and snooze. Cindy dog can't see me back there. Hee hee. She has "choosen" me as her favorite cat to watch. I'm ok with that.
It is nice here. At night, I get little toy mice and rolly balls to play with downstairs. The mom told me I can't have them in the day because the little dog named Zoe might put them in her mouth. That's ok though, I sleep in the day mostly.
I am learning that No cat is allowed on the kitchen counter, but the Amber cat can get on the kitchen table! I don't understand why I can't get on there too. It is Amber's table and she does fuss about it. She's ok though, she "chases" Georgie and me. I think she likes having more girl cats around the place. We are a softer, gentler group. She was the only girl cat, inside, before us.
I think I'll sit in the window, catch some rays and look for some birdies.

A New Home

Oh, this is all so exciting and so much to take in. I've only been in this home for a little over 24 hours and I already feel at home. And here I am on Catster writing my first diary entry. My new family pets me and talks so nice to me. The other animals seem to be nice. Georgie and I have found a great furever home!
Yes cats, I am a rescue kitty. My first family moved away and didn't want me anymore. They at least called the nice foster mom to take me. Poor Georgie, she just got left behind. But that is all behind us now.
I'm really a quiet kitty so I don't have much to say right now. I will keep you updated after I have been here awhile.
Purrs to you all.
