Arrival Story:
Raven was a shelter cat and when I saw her sweet little face, I knew she was meant to be my girl. My husband & I found out that she had been in shelter care for over 4 mths. (Her age was listed as 4-6 years.) We were also told that her previous owner had past away & that Raven had lived with 13 other cats!
Bio:
It is obviously that Raven did not have the best kitten-hood. She really did not know how to play with toys & was a bit timid. We had to be patient with her, she was very scared & unsure. She is very smart & learns quick! She used to watch our other cats & learn from them (some habbits not so good - ha ha). Now she doesn't mind coming up to us & telling us she wants attention. Raven likes playing with the other "girls" & toys. She realizes that we are her forever home. It has been a beautiful thing watching her come out of her shell! She is SUCH a talker now. It's so cute, she likes to jump on the couch and meow to be petted & loved, she doesn't like to be picked up, but she loves to get attention from her humans!

My poor human mommy! She was sick all day Tuesday. So what's a Raven to do? Show mommy lots of affection. Mommy stayed in bed most of the day, so I stayed in bed by her feet. My silly sister Keely started playing, attacking mommy's blanket. I gave her the "Raven eye" and she settled down. Later in the afternoon, mommy decided to get up & take a shower. Whew! it gave me a chance to take care of business (if you know what I mean) and have a little snack. After mommy got out the shower, she decided to lay on the couch and watch a little TV. So I laid on my blanket on the couch and "guarded" mommy until daddy got home. Mommy is feeling much better today & I know part of it was because I watched over her while she was sick.
