I have been tagged by Ginger and Sparky, but due to my brother, Mr. Sam coming to the bridge and my pawrents getting a new kitty family, I am behind.
I have to name 5 things about me....
1. Before I became an indoor cat, and I was still a stray, I would sleep in my pawrents outdoor laundry room.
2. My best friend before Mr. Sam was Mr. Snow. He was all white and we would sleep in the laundry room together in the dirty clothes on the floor. (In the winter, my pawrents had a heater out there and mom would bring us food in the laundry room.
3. I had never bitten anyone that my pawrents ever knew of - ever - even playing.
4. My girlfriend at the bridge is Pugsley and she is cute and wonderful and I wuv her!
5. I didn't like cat nip.

This is the lyrics to one of the songs on my page, I hope you enjoy them.
Rainbow connection
Why are there so many
Songs about rainbows
And whats on the other side
Rainbows are visions
Theyre only illusions
And rainbows have nothing to hide
So weve been told and some chose to
Believe it
But I know theyre wrong wait and see
Someday well find it
The rainbow connection
The lovers, the dreamers and me
Who said that every wish
Would be heard and answered
When wished on the morning star
Somebody thought of that
And someone believed it
And look what its done so far
Whats so amazing
That keeps us star gazing
What so we think we might see
Someday well find it
That rainbow connection
The lovers the dreamers and me
All of us under its spell
We know that its probably magic
Have you been half asleep
And have you heard voices
Ive heard them calling my name
Are these the sweet sounds that called
The young sailors
I think theyre one and the same
Ive heard it too many times to ignore it
Theres something that Im supposed to be
Someday well find it
The rainbow connection
The lovers, the dreamers and me

I have been tagged by Sweat Pea, Chica, Ginger & Ginnger.
The rules of the game are:
Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Cats who are tagged need to write on their diary about the seven things and the rules. You need to choose seven cats to tag and list their names. Don't forget to leave them a comment that they have been tagged and read your diary. Also they need to post the rules too.
Seven Random Facts about Me:
1. I was abandoned by my previous owners and lived on the streets for a while. (I was neutered when my pawrents found me)
2. I was the friendliest cat you could ever meet. My parents had never heard me hiss at anyone and I would go play with any person who wanted to play, even rough children.
3. I was an expert hunter when I was outside (chipmunks were so easy)!
4. I never was friends with female cats, only males. My sisters put up with me and that's about it, my house mates Mr. Sam and Mr. Snow were my cuddle buddies.
5. I am the first cat that my mawmy has every taken herself to be pts (daddy took Pepper) and it still makes her sad every day.
6. I used to lick peoples legs under the dinner table while they were eating. No one knows why except me!!!
7. I would come running from anywhere when mawmy would yell - "Pinky baby, come to mama"

First I wanted to say Happy Mommy's Day to my mawmy on earth. I love you.
And now, Buster B. and I have a surprise for Mi Mi Puggers. Puggers is a surrogate mother to lil Buster B and he loves her so very much, so we have arranged a surprise dinner for Puggers with all of her favorite food.
While at the dinner table, little Buster B presents MiMi Puggers with his present to her, a beautiful bouquet of flowers. And then I gave Miss Puggers her present for being such a great girlfriend and mother to Buster B.
After dinner we tucked in little Buster B. and went to the garden for a snuggle under the stars.

Mawmy found this and wanted to share:
They say memories are golden
well maybe that is true.
I never wanted memories,
I only wanted you.
A million times I will miss you,
a million times I will cry.
If love alone could have saved you,
you never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly,
in death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place
no cat could ever fill.
It broke my heart to loose you,
but you did not go alone.
For part of me went with you,
the day God called you home.
Your precious memory is my keepsake,
with which I'll never part.
God has you safe in His keeping,
but I'll have you forever in my heart.
If tears could build a stairway,
and heartache make a lane,
I'd walk the path to heaven
and bring you back again.
Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.

Thank you to all my friends at catster who have made my mawmys heart heal with happy thoughts of how I am doing over the bridge. We love you all profoundly.

Buster B. and I have been going everywhere! Last week at Manya's we had an easter egg hunt. Mi Mi Puggers made easter baskets for all of the kits and they had such a great time, opening their baskets, hunting for eggs and the grown ups feasting on Easter ham and mini cheesecakes.
Lots of pictures of the camping trips, pawties and general pictures of life in our neighborhood of the bridge.
Mawmy worked on group pics last week and any cat who wants a copy can just pmail me or copy from the page. If they want their kitty in a pic, just ask and mawmy will do her best. I anycat has an idea for a group pic, let mawmy or me know.
Iwas supposed to go to a few pawties last Saturday, but mawmy got caught up in destroying a rotted deck behind the shed and then tired herself out. She said hitting wood with an axe felt great, she was thinking of the pet food execs.

I adopted a wonderful little orange kit Sunday night. His name is Buster. Monday night Buster moved in and we went on our very first fishing trip. We had such a good time. I taught Buster how to take his paw and swipe fishes from the stream. He is very good at it, if I must say so myself. He caught the biggest fish of the day! That's my boy!
Buster was only 10 months old and scared when he came to the bridge. He didn't have many friends on earth and was very sad. I fell in love with the little guy the moment I saw him.
I wanted to give this little one, the love and family he never knew on earth and I wanted to make sure he is so very special. So after talking it over with my girl, Puggers, I asked Buster to be my son. We have invited the very special Reno on fishing trips with us whenever he would like to go. Ginger will be coming with us whenever he would like also.
I think the guys at the bridge maybe should have some fishing trips with the little kits that want to camp out and catch some fishes. No son required, just a love of the outdoors, kits, and fish!

might or might not be true, doesn't matter - it's the thought that counts:
Someone had a very good heart!!!!
Our cat Abbey died Aug. 23, and the day after Abbey died, my 4 year
old, Meredith, was SO upset. She wanted to write a letter to God so
that God would recognize Abbey in heaven. She told me what to
write, and I did. Then she put 2 pictures of Abbey in the envelope.
We addressed it to God in Heaven, put two stamps on it (because, as
she said, it could be a long way to heaven). We put our return
address on it, and I let her put it in the drop box at the post
office that afternoon. She was absolutely sure that letter would
get to heaven, and I wasn't about to disillusion her.
So today is Labor Day. We took the kids to the museum in Austin, and when we came home, there was a package wrapped in gold on our front
porch. It was addressed to Meredith. So, she took it inside and
opened it. Inside was a book, When Your Pet Dies, by Mr. Rogers (Fred Rogers). On the front cover was the letter we had written to God, in its
envelope (opened). On the opposite page was one of the pictures of Abbey
taped on the page. On the back page was the other picture of Abbey,
and this handwritten note on pink paper:
"Dear Meredith, I know that you will be happy to find out that Abbey arrived safely and soundly in heaven. Having the pictures you sent to me was a big
help! I recognized Abbey right away! You know, Meredith, she isn't sick anymore. Her spirit is here with me (-just like it stays in your heart-) young and running and playing. Abbey loved being your cat, you know.
Since we don't need our bodies in heaven, I don't have any pockets to keep things in-- so I am sending you your beautiful letter back with the pictures--so that you will have this little memory book to keep. One of my angels is taking care of this for me. I hope this little book will help.
Thank you for your beautiful letter. Thank your mother for sending it. What a wonderful mother you have. I picked her especially for you. God blesses you every day and remember, I love you very much. By the way, I am in heaven and everywhere there is love.
Signed,
God, and one of his special angels (who wrote this letter after God
told HER the words)." How wonderful is that! I never knew there were angels working at
the post office!
