Arrival Story:
Well when my mother went to the animal shelter 7 (or so)years ago to get a cat for a family member who had just lost her beloved cat.She found the perfect one a brown male. But as the shelter lady wasputting grace's brother in a carry cage my mother saw grace and asked how much for the little girl?
The lady just said lets just put her in here with her brother.
After it finally hit my mother that she could not keep Grace she came to my house one day and said * I got katie a kitten* ( katie is my now 13 year old daughter)
i was a bit mad because i already had charlie. But katie & me fell in love with her. She has been apart of the family ever since.
Bio:
Grace is a mix of many cat breeds. She is mostly gray and has kind of long hairs that gets matted easily. ***When she got her summer cut in may of 2007 we found out she has very velvet like fur once brushed & washed & cut.

Gracie was is a little well she has some mental issues no ofence to my baby girl of course i love her with all my heart. She can not clean herself right and somtimes she can not tell that somthing may hurt her like one time she almost ran into a burning fire place but we checked and her eyes are fine. But she is our "poor" Gracie Love.

Grace is very timmed she usually hides in my room she does come out but gets spooked very easily especially new people in the house. She also has the funniest meow it is kind of croaky but i love it & i love her!
Oh have to add this~
when Gracland was kitten well she didn't act like most baby cats. She didn't play much and just was well poor gracie love :)

*UPDATE* On Feburary,23, 2007 Our 13 year old cat Charlie had to be put to sleep he was dieing of old age. Gracie & him were pretty close she misses him very much. Starting around March Gracie started coming out more and now she is my snuggle bunny every night likes to make new human friends and puts up with the dogs. She misses charlie but is well finnally acting like She well needs to. She is a great cat and i love her to bits i will never forget her she is defenitly one of a kind.
I think she will enjoy the summer time she loves looking out the window in our living room by sitting up like a prairie dog on top of our couch.

On 9-8-07 we found a little black kitten in our backyard. We have known the horror of loosing a cat so we searched to see if any one had lossed this cutie.We went up & down streets for weeks!The kitten soon got the name "Carley" she stayed in our garage (with out kitty food litter box and several naping areas)She was amajor sweetioe.Gracie hated the entire thing.Finally after almost two weeks of searching to see if "Carley" was lost we decided to foster her until we found her a home.We had fostered MANY dogs before and Shea was our only failure;)We said no no we were not going to keep her.On 10-6-07 (the 8th of that month would be one month we had "Carley")We decided to keep Carley.Gracie had gotten a bit used to her. About a week of owning "carley" My daughter begged me to change her name to Alice. So now Carley is Alice.Gracie is all against Alice, while Alice thinks Gracie is the funnest toy on the planet! (next to people and catnip LOL) Hopefully they will get along soon.

Things are normal around here.Alice is evil and bothersom, I am sleepy & shy, I miss Charlie, the dogs are crazy (along with Alice of course!) and life is life! Though it is getting somewhat warmer outside so I come out a bit from my cozy spot under mom's bed & take longer sunbaths than normal. Today is a bit crazier though.Somthing to do with KU? Well this is what I have been able to pick up since Sunday morning -after some big basketball game I guess (MOL)-:

A year ago today. I lost my best friend.I lost my "brofur" (fur-brother).I lost my snuggle companion. I lost my "roommate" Charlie. He went to the bridge a year ago today, wowza it seems just like Yesterday that we snuggled for the last time. Even though mom misses her Charlie Boy she says that it all worked out. See as Charlie was getting to his last days and becoming sick I became to come out of my shell more, I would want more attention and such. Instead of spending 70% of my days hiding under a bed,in a closet ect. I began to spend more time in the living room snuggling by mom or one of the three main humans and just walking around the house more. But I was some-what distressed when Char left to go to heaven. I searched for my snuggle buddy and slept in the little baby basket were we loved to have our snuggle "dates".I waited for him.....and waited.....and waited.And being solo I started to love on mama much more for a couple days when mom watched TV at night, I was almost joined at her hip! I was a bit mad at Charles when he sent us the little booger ("Alice" well thats what the humans call her). Especially when mom decided to keep her, and then let her inside the house. Ugh. Why couldn't she have stayed in the garage? Well yes we are getting along..............but she better keep her distance!
I miss you Charlie Bear, we all do.
