Arrival Story:
This poor little kitten. During the summer of 2004, I was telling some good friends of mine about my childhood cat, Kitty. A gorgeous calico who I missed very much. She died many years ago while I was away from college. That's another story.. Anyway, my friends decided that my dog, Angel needed a buddy. So as a get well present for surgery I was having that summer, they decided that I needed a kitten. So they brought this tiny little creature from a rural farm in Nebraska. She was only 1 of 2 in the litter. Unfortunately, she had an eye infection, ear mites, and she was a filthy mess. This poor little thing was only six weeks old! She needed me and so the story begins.

Bio:
Her first year she was raised by my golden retreiver, her surrogate mommy. She loved Angel so much and was always laying wherever Angel was. She was devasted by Angel's death 1 year later. To add to her stress, I introduced Max to our little family. The only male in the house, he became the boss and continually harassess Chloe. They tolerate eachother, but there is no love lost. She makes me laugh on a daily basis. When she wakes up from a nap she looks like she's been through a war! Her fur sticks up in every direction...kind of like a porcupine; she yawns and her face looks like she's screaming like a banshee with no noise coming out. She likes to have things her way, to be touched when she wants to be touched and will certainly let you know when she doesn't. I am the only one who can hold her to this day. Everyone else is afraid of her. She's a beautiful kitty, but quite the devil. :)

Where o where has Neferkitty gone?

I miss her sweetness and generosity. I miss her cute new pictures and creativity! I miss her working on the falling objects pages.

Maybe she's in Disney World? Maybe she's in Disneyland? Wherever she is, I hope she is doing well and is happy.
