5. Litter Hygiene
It’s always important to keep your cat’s litter clean. Every litter box should be scooped out daily and fully changed over at least once a week. The most common cause of UTIs in cats is an ascending infection from fecal contamination, so if your cat has to squat in soiled litter, there’s a good chance that an infection will follow.

Can a cat get over urinary tract infection on there own without treatment?

Hi, I have 2 cats, male and female they are siblings. My male cat does use their litter box but he tends not to actually pee in the litter box. I use quite a bit of pee pee pads due to this. My female cat has recently started peeing outside of her litter box. Just small little pees and it seems to take her a bit to actually pee. and when she does there isn't much. Money wise I cant afford to take her to the vet, so i am trying to find some natural remedies to help her.
