Arrival Story: He came in to my work as a 3 week old kitten. He was very thin, weak, covered in fleas and cold as ice. I warmed him up, gave him some formula which he was too weak to drink from a bottle so he had to be nursed from a syringe for awhile. I got the fleas off of him and took him home also. Then at about 5 weeks he developed a severe upper respiratory infection and a severe ulcer on his right eye. We treated the eye for several weeks. They usually heal quickly. He was left with a scar on his eye so he has trouble seeing out of it clearly. The doctor did not want to adopted him out since it might have been a chronic problem so I kept him. He really hasn't been a chronic problem other than occasionally I put eye drops to help lubricate the eye and have to clean his nose since the eye runs sometimes. It does not appear to be anything contaigous which is what the doctor was worried about.
Bio: He loves to pester the other cats. Emme was his favorite since they were close in age. They were not related but they looked alot alike. For a long time when he went out in the backyard which is very large. He would cry out to me and I would call back to him and he would run to me. He loves to be where I'm at in the yard. It seems like he has some trouble seeing and can't see where I'm at. Once I let him know he comes running over to me to hang out. He also is a real ham when it comes to people food. He thinks he has to see what I'm having and wants to share. He loves tea also, but is not crazy about soft drinks. I have to fix him a bowl of tea so he will leave mine alone.
