Not ready for Catmas!!

Wow, It has been a bad month for us :( Not only have we not been on Catster barely once....But the most saddest and unexpected things have happened.......First....*wipes away his tears* My Brother Leo's girl Squeaks has gone to Rainbow Bridge :(

Also, Our good furriend Picasso also went to the bridge with Squeaks. Poor guy, I love you buddy!

They both went way too early. Well, I know that they are happy now and was honored to have had them in my life.

In addition...we have missed our besties birthday and wedding and not too mention the numerous other things!!!Mommy had to take her website down over the holidays...she couldn't keep up with that and her 2 other jobs.

We did get to update our pics and do our diary, but there isn't time for us to update our pages with fun Catmas stuff---pooh!!!!

Well, we do have some good news....but we aren't meowing about it until Catmas!!!

Birthday Thank you!!

Wow!! Yesterday was my 3rd Birthday!! Can you believe it?!?! 3yrs. old!! I had a wonderful morning with mommy, who dedicated several hours to me! Thanks mom!! Now a days-a half hour is a blessing, so it meant a lot to me!! I wanted to thank everyone who has sent a pawmail, special girf, rossie, star, voki etc.!! That really was sweet of all of you!! Mommy unfortunately is going to the shore in a few hrs. so, I won't be able to send thank you's until Tuesday evening when she is finished work. But they are coming!! So, in the meantime--THANK YOU!!!!!

I did get some very special gifties from my bestest pals and my handsome Gimli!! And to tell the truth, mom may have forgot my bday if it wasn't for them sounding pawckages!!! MOL!! Thanks Guys!!!

Gimli sent me the cutest giftie!! He is such a sweetie!! He Sent my very own Hello Kitty kaboodle pouch--Which I am going to use as a special toy box--It was packed with tons of fun goodies!! It came with a purty necklace, which I wore all morning long!*giggles* Some fun toys, which I was just playing with 2 minutes ago! My Very own Hello Kitty Purse, Which I have the purrfect Idea For!!!! *remind me to tell ya my idea Gimmers!!!* A book that mommy sat and read to me--about a bunny named Peter!! A HUGE Hello Kitty Marshmellow Taffy, which Leo tried to steal!!! The most adorable kitty/doggie gel pens, that i can write my cards to my furriends with! A very cute kitty note book, Some starburst candies in a cute bunny basket, a purty pink bunny sponge, a very cute stuffed bear with bunny ears on it--which I smell Gimli all over it!! YUMMY!! And, a magnet that looks just like Gimmers-except he is way more handsome! Oh and some berts bee's lippy stuff for mommy--which she absolutely loves and used all 3 of yesterday!! Thank you so much Gimmers!! xoxoxoxox

Boogie, Hondo, Fido, Tiskers and Mittens sent us a wonderous pressie!!! They sent a very pretty and comfy Fleece bed for us! It has such pretty colors, It is white with Pink and Orange polka dots!! So Stylish!! We love it!! Leo has slept on it several times already!! MOL!! Maybe their mommy made it?!!?Not sure--we have to ask them, But whoever made it did a very pawtatic job!! We sooo LOVE it!! Thanks guys!!! We love you!! *big hugs*

And then Cocoa and Co. sent me a giftie too! They sent me a purty card with this really fun doorknob toy!! Mom got some great pics of me playing with it!! It is so much fun!! And this really cool loofa toy with ribbons on it, which I love! Some yummy yummy treats!! Always a favorite!!! *giggles* And of course his mommy so lovingly made me her specialty catnip toys!! Lot's of them too!! I love the toys she makes!!! Thank you so much Cocoa and Co!! Love you kits!! Give your mommy a hug for me too!

I feel so grateful to have such wonderful kitties and their families to have made my day so special--even since Leo and I have been like ghosts recently due to mom's busy schedule!!

We haven't left Catster! We Pawmise!!!!

I know-I know--I have been a horrible friend. I haven't been there for some very important events and festivities. I haven't been there just as a friend for my buds...I've been an awful GF...and the list goes on.

So, I wanted to send all of my furriends who read this--A BIG FAT hug and a sloppy KISS!!! I miss you guys all so much!!!

For those who don't know--mommy has started a new job and doesn't have nearly as much time to let us on anymore...And in addition to that............................

Mom's Sister--her husband--and their baby have moved back home from Michigan...So mommy has been spending as much time as she can visiting with them and loving her new baby niece to pieces.

Mom's Mom-In-Law is Going through Chemotherapy and Radiation therapy and mom and dad try to spend as much time with her in New Jersey as possible as well.

So....that is our story as to why we have been MIA!!
BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We will be back when all settles down!!!

I did a boo boo :( Sorry Mommy!

So, last night, mommy and daddy were cleaning the fish tank and adding some new fishies to the tank, and I was very excited!! I love the fisheis and I love all the water playing!!! That's my favorite part! Well, I was all riled up and jumped into one of my cat condo houses--mommy came up to me to look inside the house at me and I saw her face and then I noticed that piece of hair dangling down. I can't resist swatting at dangling hair--so I swatted at it as quick as I could and OH NO!!!!! Mommy ran off moaning :(((( Daddy came running to her side to make sure she was alright--I didn't know what to do, so I hid out in my cat house. I really got mommy good :(((( I almost daggered her all the way through her eyelit and gave her a broken blood vessel under her eye. Her eye is all swollen and she is not real happy, but she did forgive me right away--she made sure she let me know that--and she said that it is her fault! She says that she is way past due on trimming my claws and that I shouldn't feel bad. Poor mommy--I hope that the swelling goes down and it doesn't get infected--mom thought she might have to get stitches :0 Well, we'll see what happens over the next few days!! Sorry Mommy!!!

Update on us

Hiya! The weather is getting so warm out! I love it! Mom and dad took us for a few strolls so far and even got us harness leashes to go on the back deck!! We really didn't like that very much!! I walked backwards!! Mom and dad thought it was hysterical!! I did not!!

I sure do miss everykitty and their family so much!! Especially my sweet Gimli!! I am missing so much and am even missing my Very Important Friends birthdays and things--So, I have to apawlagize to all of my kitty furriends...but have very good reasons!!

Reason #1 and most important...Mommy's mother-in-law has just had surgery for lung cancer--she had one of her left lobes of her lungs removed and now she is about to start undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment at the same time. AND on top of that-mom's mother in-law's sister just had a lumpectomy and is going to begin radiation therapy. So mommy has been consentrating her time with famly alot lately.

Reason #2 Mommy is in the process of changing jobs. She is working her morning hours (getting up at 4:15am) and then going to training for her new job at a law firm and doesn't get back until 6:30 pm and is exhasted by the time she gets home.

So, mommy starts working her new job ONLY on the 20th of may--3 days a week--but her 2 days off, she will be taking her mom-in-law to chemo and radiation and working on her poshpetsbyc and embroidery orders whenever she can.......SO Mommy says that we unfortunately will not be back full time for a while longer. Her mom-in-laws chemo won't be over until the end of June, so we will see how things go.

I hope all of our furriends can understand why we aren't able to keep in touch and be active in all of our Catster activities and not be upset at us :)

We are doing great though and are loving the warm weather--I have started working on my tan already and Leo has been chasing the buggies that get in from outside.

FINALLY!!

ok ok...so we just finally got changed out of our easter bunny costume!! I know..it is April now!! Sheesh!! But yes......we still have our easter pages up!! DUH!!

Hopefully we will get around to changing that this week...no promises though!!MOL!!

Has anykitty wondered where the heck we have been...well I'll try to make a long story short. First mommy fell ill (previos entry) then, Our grandmommy just had surgery for lung cancer this past weekend and now our grand nanny is going to start under going treatment for breast cancer. Mommy was at the cancer center for the past few days with her mom in law and with everything going on here with illness, mommy has been kinda down. Between her work, her sewing/website and everything else, she hasn't been able to spend much time with us on Catster....so we are sorry!!!!!!!!!

But boy, do we miss alot!! And boy are we late with everykitty's birthdays, anniversaries and what not....Apology's to alll of our pals!! This Can't last forever and hopefully we will be back playing full time!! Love you kitties!

Hiya kits...we just logged on for the 1st time in about 3 weeks:( We have truely missed all of our furriends so vey much. Gimli and Squeakers we are so sorry--and our besties for not being able to check in with you all:( We really are sorry and we apologize from the bottom of our hearts:(

See, we have had a pretty rough time lately..first mommy and daddy had a family member die and that was very sad for everyone and mom's sister and the baby came in for a week....and then mommy became quite ill...she is still not right...she has had dr. appointments and has quite a few more lined up for the next 3 weeks....She has no idea what the issue is, but is starting to feel better physically and mentally at this point...hopefully, there will be no more sad things that happen here anymore:( It has been quite a sad 3 weeks at our house.

We would love to ask that you could all please purr for there to be nothing seriously wrong with mommy..and that all of her other appointments only bear good news. Thanks so much--it would make us so happy!! xoxoxoxox

Chocolates from Gimli and purrs for Kahlan!!

I wanted to send a special thank you to my most handsome BF GIMLI for sending me the most delicious box of chocolates for Valentine's day--he is such a sweetheart!! love u Gimmers!!xoxoxo

I also wanted to ask everykitty to please purr hard for his sister KAHLAN to come back home!! She slipped out the door on a Sunday and hasn't come back inside since :( She was on their doorstep eating food last night when their mommy came home--she jumped out of the car to go get her, but she ran and when they looked for her...they couldn't find her again. So please purr hard for Kahlan to come home. She is greatly missed!
