Arrival Story: I was at the pound on death row, after I was caught in a trap at the park. Then the SPCA removed me from death row, and took me to their shelter, where I stayed for 6 months. Then my guardians and a friend of theirs came to the SPCA, and we "clicked".
Bio: I remain a mystery. My guardians wish that I could talk to them and tell them about my life before I came to their home. I really, REALLY like my home. Two square meals of Fancy Feast daily, treats at night, birdwatching entertainment during the afternoons, and lots of good nap spots. I get daily brushings, keeping my beautiful red fur shiny and pristine. Sometimes Toni can be a pesky little sister, but I am the model of patience. I am a survivor because I know when to hide. My favorite hiding place is under the bed, when vistors arrive or it's time to go to the vet.
Even though my little sister Toni is a pest, she does have good ideas and is very good at training my parents. She is constantly pawing at the treat jar, and when the parents respond, they dish out treats to both of us... so I don't have to do any obvious demonstrations that I want a treat. However, at bedtime, I do try to make a point of hanging around closeby, laying on top of my mom, and giving her subtle signals that it's treat time. They are good parents: they respond to both subtle and obvious signals that it's treat time!
Oh my catness, I was notified by Catster that I'm a Diary Pick today! It has been an ordinary day otherwise - I got brushed, had my all important breakfast, and next is my beauty nap. I have to choose out of 5 locations. I try to rotate my nap locations to maintain a good variety!
Thank U Catster!
PS Me and my sister Toni want to implement a new "Treats on Demand" program.
