Likes:
Playing morning drill sargent. As soon as the sun rises, Chloe takes it upon herself to wake up the household. Until the first spoonful of food hits her bowl, she meows, climbs on my head, and serves up an occassional headbutt.

The small "slipcover hammock" that has formed between the back of the sofa and the sofa's middle pillow.

Favorite Food:
Friskies prime filet! Not good for the teeth, but definitely her weight and my wallet.

Skills:
Playing fetch! She will run after, pick up, and RETREIVE small crunched up paper balls. And if she gets real tired, she pants!!

Arrival Story:
Chloe was on display at the local animal shelter and I could barely believe such a sweet, gorgeous kitty could be left for adoption. I scooped her up in a heartbeat. She has ruled the roost ever since. So I knew when I wanted a dog, he had to come in as a pup. She has been firm but great with Zach, and vice-versa. They've become great companions, so much so that when they are split up, both truly don't do well apart for long periods of time. Chloe has helped Zach to learn how to feel comfortable being home without me, and he has taught her it is ok to growl out loud if she hears a noise and snore occassionally, too! Real lady like, huh? (Or geese, did she get that from me? YIKES!!)

Bio:
Since living with both as they've grown together, it's funny to watch Chloe take on the characteristics of a dog (I wanna be like my brother and eat everything mom eats!!) and Zach take on the qualities of a cat (if sis can snuggle in mom's lap, than so can I!). But they keep eachother great company and the sweetest times are when the two of them follow me around the apartment. Chloe will sometimes snuggle up close to Zach or rub up against him. And he won't flinch. That's a happy mom moment.
