I crossed the bridge today

the little one brought me out of the room screaming - what is wrong w/ Noel? I couldn't stand or hold my head up. The big people knew. I was about to cross the bridge. Mommy asked where he found me - I was not on the bed where I normally was. I was under the bed.

I was making a weird meowing sound. Mommy and Daddy knew. Even if they could get a ride to the vet it would not have made a difference.

10 minutes later I was gone. Everyone is sad. I feel young again! I have all my claws back. I won't be waiting at the rainbow for my first owners, I'll be waiting for my last. They took me when no one else wanted me.

update on my life

well I like the kid. I sleep in his room now. I am going blind in one eye - but I guess that is common with old cats

I like living here. I know these guys love me

I bit mommy

And she got an infection. She was on the bed near me and I don't like people too close to me yet . I chomped on her arm hard an she had to go to the doctor a day later bc her arm was red n puffy. She has 4 puncture marks. When I bit her Zeus attacked me.

Mommy wanted me to share

I am eating! - they bought me soft cat food - takes me a while to eat a whole lot but I am eating!

Mommy is happy that I eat now. The other black cat still hates me tho

Out of the closet

I lay on the bed most of the time now - I use the litter pan (for both)

I drink but I still barely eat. Mommy has given me tuna twice and I won't eat it. She is wondering how I eat (there IS food in the room - but to her it barely looks touched.

I have been thu so much! (and I have not lost any weight)

I went thu my people throwing me away, ending up on the streets, then a mean shelter, then a nice lady's house for a night, then a LONG car ride from Miami - Cocoa Beach to Kissimmee

I'm old, I'm grumpy, Am I gonna end up being thrown outta here? The only cat I've seen in the black one and he hates me - he thinks I stole his mommy.

I didn't! She just didn't want me to die!

How do I make mommy happy? What is a good way to get me to eat for her. What is something super special she can get me - that I'll like (the food she has - it's meh)

It is almost 2 am in Florida.

Noel is probably sleeping. I am in Kissimmee too excited to sleep. We are leaving at 930am to pick up Noel (since we have to walk to the pick up place) I am so excited to be getting this precious boy later on today. In less than 10 hours he will be offically mine! he will never have to worry about being tossed aside again! Never have to worry about being treated bad again!

He will have a soft warm bed to sleep in each nite. If he wants to, he can sleep under the covers. I have bought some cosequin to help his bones/joints. I'll check his teeth to see if he needs to be on a soft food diet or a soft/hard food or if he can be on hard food. He will get a special bowl so he won't have to jump up for the food. (Zeus gets a special bowl b/c - well just because - I'll have him and Noel share it!)

Tonight is my last night in Miami/Dade Shelter

I am 16 years old. My old owners tossed me outside and the Miami/Dade Shelter found me. It is a KILL shelter. Tomorrow a woman named Mari is picking me up. I will be staying with her until Saturday. Mari is not my new human. Saturday the Underground Kitty Railroad will be taking me to my new human who is a long drive away.

She lives in a city where there is a big mouse. (wonder if I'll get to eat him)

She has other cats - I hope we can become friends. Her name is Liz. Her kitty Pouncer has come to visit me and told me I will be happy. She said I will be loved and spoiled and treated right until the day I die. GOOD. I need that! She said there's a blue blanket that is SUPER soft and I am to lay on it at all times! She'll move to let me lay on it.

I can't wait to go home. This shelter is not nice. I can't wait to meet you Mommy!! Just a few days! I'm sure I'll love you but I know you already love me ~ Noel
