Mum said that we were due to get what's left of hurricane Katia. Being named after a Kat she did her best to whip up the leaves in the garden and I had a brilliant time chasing things about. I brought my favourite things in to show my mum - some leaves, some berries and a roly poly snail shell. That was a good weekend.
Then later we all settled down cosy. I have the arm of the sofa next to mum and Josie goes by mum's head on the back of the sofa and we both get head rubs and are happy as can be. Then Victoria came round from next door. She had some excuse about bringing round some tomatoes but really I knew she wanted to admire me because that is what she did. Josie ran away because she is a scaredy cat but I like visitors. Victoria thinks I weigh about the same as a bag of sugar and agrees with my mum that I am little for my age - but perfectly formed.
Sadly Josie did not have such a good weekend as it was time for her vet visit. It began badly with a vicious wolf trying to eat her and mum had to keep pushing him away. Mum said it was just an over friendly Spaniel but she wished his owners had kept him under better control as she could see Josie was so scared.
The vet tested Josie's heart and it was all over the place because she was so scared. Then he looked at her teeth and the bad news is that more will have to come out like last year. Indeed he said the condition she has will continue and it might be as well to take them all out in one go. Mum and Josie were shocked but he said that cats get by without them OK and she would keep her canines. Mum brought Josie back and she is going to check with the vet nurses at work.
Wow - I said. I'm glad that I won't have to go to the vet for a very long time and mum said sadly that's not true and she'll tell me more tomorrow. I don't like the sound of that.

oh no poor JOsie kitty. Glad you had good day, kinda scary bout that vet stuff...hope it all goes well for you little one. I am kinda small too only 8 lbs and on some days only 7.5 but I am so very athletic and maybe you are too and so we work all that we eat MOL.
Hope Josie's trip to vet goes well. Toby remember small rock. I'm a little bloke and proud of it I was the runt of litter. Also remember good things come in little packages.
Oh poor Josie. I heard cats can even eat dry food with no teeth. We are so very adaptable. That big bad wolf should not be allowed to scare kitties at the vet. Brofur Timo is VERY afraid of dogs. He's in a kennel when we go to the vet but he meows if any dogs are in sight.
