Long Overdue Update

I am so sorry for not updating you sooner on me, my friends. It is sometimes hard for my mom to sit and think about what goes on with me and then have to type it into my diary. It is like living it all over again I guess. I will start with the good news- my tumors have shrunk! Not a lot yet but some & seem to be stable. I had ultrasound done so they are sure of that.

The not so good news is that I am still dealing with the fevers. Not every day but far too often for my liking. They come & go pretty suddenly. Well they come on more suddenly than they go I guess. I am on sub Q fluids daily plus the Prednisilone. Each time my mom tries to cut down on either of those- even a little bit, the fevers get worse. In order to try the Palladia I have to be on the Prednisilone only every other day because I can't have it the same day as the Palladia. So I can't try the Palladia until the fevers stop. My doctors all just refer to it as the mystery fever. All my tests look good but it is still there. So they have to assume it is from the cancer. Or actually it is my own body trying to fight the cancer the way I understand it. At least with my meds I do have mostly good days. I sleep more than I used to but still love to lay by an open door & watch the goings on outside.

We have a fox coming to our pond & feeder. He is the exact color of me and about my size too. The first time my mom saw him from above she thought he was an orange cat. He was drinking from the pond & she was looking down from the sunroom at him. He eats bread that we put out for the birds. I like bread too so maybe he is my wild cousin or something?

I guess that is about all for now. Thank you so much for all the comments, pawmail, email, prayers, purrs, rosettes etc. I know I keep saying this but they really do mean a lot to us because they come from YOU. Purrs for this fever to never come back would be the icing on the cake. Thanks for any that you can spare. I know that there has sure been a lot of sick kitties and kitties making their Bridge journeys of late. I am sending purrs to all of them and their families.

as far as yur fever goes, eye am gonna find out who sent de cutlery to de wrong address and we will see if de same pigeon can send yur fever sum place where it canna find its way back to ewe ......

It is good to hear from you Louis LeBeau my fighting cancer friend...I am glad you are doing OK! We hope your Mom can get the fever under control so you can have your other medications...I send you special healing prayers....

I love sitting by the doors too and watch what is going on outside...I bet the fox is really cool to watch...You take care my friend and keep fighting I am and we both most fight...we are praying for and you are in our thoughts every day.

YIPPEEEEEEE! Those nasty tumors have shrunk! Hip Hip Hooray! Our purrayers are being heard! Now we must purray that the nasty ol' fevers go away and nefur come back! We will all purray fur that!!

How nice that you have a new outdoor furiend honey...maybe the fox is an angel sent to bring you good luck. I think it is furry interesting that he looks just like you! I'll bet that he is not near as handsome as you though...you are a solid ten in that department!

Thank you fur the update in your Diary honey...we all know how hard it is fur your mom to have to re-live all of these occurances efurrry time she does an update, and we appurciate it. We are happy to receive any word about your health, no matter how small it may seem, but we understand why there aren't furry many of them. Purrlease tell your mom that we appurciate efurry single one of them!

But is is wonderful news that the tumour has shrunk. And we are so glad that your days are mostly good.
