We were such good kitties!

Zack and I did not make a peep on the drive over to the Vet. We didn't make a poo or a pee either. We were both great patients. Zack went first, then me. We were very quiet and let Dr. Tom check us all over. One good thing is that he doesn't put anything up our butts during the annual checkups. He put us on the scale and we weigh exactly the same as we did at home so we know our scales are spot on. Zack weighs 8lbs 13oz and I weigh 6lbs 5oz. He said we were both the purrfect weight for our bodies. One thing is that Mommy has to start brushing our teeth because I have a little tartar already. So she will start practicing doing that with us this weekend.

Dr. Tom could hear my purr machine going. I was so comfortable that I just layed there listening to them talk and was looking at everything in the room. I was in no hurry to get back in the carrier.

When we drove back into the garage and our pawrents were carrying us into the house, we were all excited because we knew we were back home.

Now we knead to EAT!

YAY! That really was an excellent adventure, Zoey! Good for you! Be a good girl and let your Mommy brush your teeth so you don't lose a lot of teeth like Beepers and I have.

Now for the burning, important question: Did you get treats at the vet?

You sure are a good vet kitty... I'm not a good vet kitty. I get too scared. Sister isn't a good vet kitty either, she yells at the vet something fierce!

Happy Saturday Kibbles, Ashlynne and River!!

The Vet really really appreciates how good we are compared to how Angel Rocky Ann (rest her soul) acted with him.

Ashlynne, Mommy hopes she can brush our teeth. I will try really hard to work on that. NO, I didn't get any treats at the Vet. Mommy even had them laying there but there was no need and we didn't seem to care about them. Everyone forgot about them. MOL! We didn't even get treats when we got home, but we got lunch :)

I think we are all going to take a long nap now. This adventure was tiring!

I am a good boy once I get to the vet and I'm in the room and out of my carrier; I'm not a good traveler. I am much like Violet, bestest friend of your Angel sister. You know I am around for sure - MOL! My sister is like Angel Rocky Ann - the vet referred to her as "cranky" today - MOL!! This is the same vet who rescued Ashley and her kittens seven years ago. I didn't get good news today and my mom is sad. I may start a diary but for sure plan to write my pal Angel Rocky Ann. I know I'll be ok with her watching out for me.

We got up to eat but both then went right back to sleep. Going to the vet is very very tiring!

Mommy told the Vet that she gets up at 3am to feed us and he said she is the second Mommy in that day that does that! He said we have trained her very well and he bets that Daddy wishes he could train her that well too. MOL!

Tasha so cool that TT and Zack are the same weight. They must look so much alike being handsome black cats and all.

Kovo I bet you are brave everywhere else. I think Vets would rather have scared patients than brave patients. I have a feeling we were pretty scared too.

Tony, I just heard the news! Purrzz to you. My family will keep you in our thoughs. Angel Rocky Ann just pmailed you. Power of the Paw to you!

Thank you Zach and Charlie and Zoe. Luckily Zack didn't do a Zack Attack on the Vet. MOL!

We told our Vet that he must watch Must Love Cats on Animal Planet. He hadn't heard about it.

I think we will get up to eat one more time and then go to bed for the night. Mommy has a feeling we will be wild indians tomorrow!

Great news Zoey and Zack! Also glad you and Zack are able to make going to the vet so much fun and consider it an excellent adventure! I don't think going to the vet is an excellent adventure at all and would love to know your secret for staying so calm and stress-free! As for those teeth, please cooperate with your mommy and let her brush them. Then you won't end up like me with half your teeth missing, including both front fangs! It makes my mouth look so silly and it's hard for me to chew -- mommy has to add water to my food so I can lap it up. You don't want that to happen to you, do you? :))

Littleboy, thanks for both your comments! Sounds like we are the same - like the vet but don't like going in the carrier.

Ember seems like we got more treats practicing to go in the carrier than the actual day of going to the Vet. I think we got jipped!
