Mommy and daddy took off my bandages today and boy was I ANGRY! Some of the stuff stuck to my fur and I couldn't help myself and cried. They ended up getting some hair scissors and trimmed it away from my fur so it didn't hurt as much. Afterwards they gave me some of my pain medicine and a yummy bowl of fish and some snacks.

I've been wearing my cone of shame and it's awful too. I think I prefer the bandages over that thing! Daddy says it looks like I'm wearing a nun's habit. Mommy took it off of me when I went to the litter box and came out with my paw somehow in the cone along with my head. I don't know how I did it, but it worked. THE CONE IS OFF!

I'm being a good girl and not picking at the surgical site so mommy says I don't have to wear it right now. I'm just happy to be out of all of these crazy contraptions.

Thank you so much everyone for checking on me! Here's hoping this is the last surgery for awhile so I can relax and just be a kitty. Mommy put pillows and blankets alllllllll over the floor for me to lay down on, but I prefer laying on my scratch pads. They make me go scratch scratch scratch streeeeeetch scratch!
