Arrival Story:
Luna came to me from the SPCA on August 4, 1996. She was about 1 1/2 years old then. Her owner had given her up because she was "too loud". I have always liked the fact that she is very vocal. She's never been loud to me. Although she has woken me up quite a few times with those vocal chords of hers!

Bio:
Luna is suffering right now. Her companion of 7 years, Helios, recently died, perhaps of F.I.P., perhaps of something else. Luna got sick after Helios died and had to go to the hospital for an infection. She has been much, much better lately, although she does have a small kidney problem and a heart murmur. She cries alot and may get another companion someday soon as she has no signs of infection in her blood.

Back from the ultrasound

I had to go to the veterany hospital today to have an ultrasound done on my heart. The doctor who did it was very charming and handsome! He said he could see that I had a little hardening of the heart but that it was quite minimal at this stage. So, I don't have to take any meds for my heart at this time! Yeah! I do, however, have to go back in three months, and I am not excited at all about that!

I do have to have another blood test done in the next week or so, and I'll have to probably work on getting my kidneys in better shape. But for now, I'm home, and I have gotten to eat lots of food! Whew, what a day. Glad I can nap in peace now...


Ultrasound today

Today I have an ultrasound on my heart. I'm not supposed to eat for 12 hours! I am so upset I can't stop crying! I'm so hungry! It's unfair.

And to top it all off my humans adopted another cat. I haven't seen her yet, but I've heard her sneezing through the door. I don't like it one bit! She got a cold at the shelter and isn't feeling real great. And maybe I'll catch the cold, too! I really hope not!
