A Cat's Life in 2005 by Miss Monkey

Sunny in February

It's been so nice and sunny but still very cold outside. So I've been spending my days sleeping on the sofa. Marc put an extra sleeping bag on the corner of the sofa and it's perfect for me to spend my sleeping hours.

Wendy also came by with more dried squids. That stuff is yummy! But I can't eat too much of it because it makes me really thirsty. I have been spending so much time sleeping these days. The other day I came in after a cold and rainy night to some fresh laundry and sheets... it was so nice. But I don't think Marc and Wendy liked the paw prints I left behind. Since I'm so lovable, I think I'm forgiven.

Sunshine and Dirt Baths Dream

I slept alot this holiday season because it has been raining nonstop. Wendy and Marc both got sick within the same week and was feeling funny from all the cough syrup they took. The fun part was that I got tons of petting and pruning while I was in bed with Wendy. I'm a good sleeper and don't make much of a fuss, but sometimes Wendy will start kicking her feet and it would wake me up. But since I know more head scratches were coming my way, I just look up and waited patiently.

I do miss the sunshine and the dirt bath. I can't believe how long it's been since I've been on Catster and have not wrote any updates lately. Let's see what's new... our neighbors got a new cat, he's black like me but doesn't have a tuxedo. He does have a bell that makes a jingle when he comes around. There use to be another orange tabby that use to come and hang out at our porch and eat our left over cat food. I haven't seen him around either.

Spring is almost here!

I can't wait to spend my beautiful spring days just soaking up some sunshine. But right now the nights are still chilly and I try to come inside and find a nice warm spot on the bed and curl up. Wendy likes to give me little scratches on my chin and neck and it makes me so happy! Marc also feed me yummy treats too. I am so happy to be a cat.

P.S. My sister, Tabatha, is very strange sometimes. She wants to have all the treats and can never sit still for her turn... but I don't mind because I'm a lady and will always be one!
