Knit Cat Hat from AnnaLynne McCord and Fresh Step to Benefit ASPCA
Has your head been feeling a bit chilly this season? Then why not consider purchasing a beautifully knit cat hat to benefit a good cause?
After collaborating with country singer Kellie Pickler last year on a charitable cat sweater, Fresh Step cat litter has teamed up with knitwear designer Sunghee Bang on a chic cat hat to help raise money for homeless cats.
The black and gray popcorn knit cap will keep you feeling toasty, while the pointy black ears are sure to attract attention. The limited edition feline-inspired accessory is available from the ASPCA online store for $39.99 while supplies last, with 100 percent of the purchase price going to benefit the animal rescue and welfare organization.
Cat-loving actress AnnaLynne McCord will lend a paw in unveiling the hat when the 90210 star appears in Park City, Utah, this weekend, to introduce the five finalists for the Fresh Step Catdance Film Festival competition.
Starting on Monday, Jan. 20, fans will be able to view all of the official cat video selections from the film fest online, and cast a ballot for their favorite to win $10,000. As an added incentive to participate, all voters will also have a chance to win prizes, including Fresh Step coupons and the charitable chapeau.
