When I first saw this version of the Memory game, I got very nostalgic. My sister is seven years younger than me, and when we were kids, I used to spend countless hours playing these types of games with her. And when I received a sample of the Cat & Kittens version, she was the first person I played it with!
Memory games provide fun for everyone in the family. Cards are placed face down, and the players find matching pairs. In this version, a pair consists of an adult cat and a kitten of the same breed.
Created by the U.K.-based Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and illustrated by the watercolors of artist Marcel George, the set features breeds like the British Shorthair, Siamese, Maine Coon, Norwegian Forest Cat and more.
The 50-card set comes in a sturdy gift box and includes a pamphlet depicting each breed’s pairing, along with factoids about each breed.
The Cats & Kittens Memory Game costs $14.99 and is available through Laurence King Publishing.
