Today through March 1: Cadbury Bunny Tryouts

It’s time to let your fur babies shine! Cadbury is launching the third annual Cadbury Bunny tryouts. Last year’s winner, two-legged Coonhound Lieutenant Dan, will be a guest judge before he passes the coveted bunny ears to this year’s lucky winner. Tryouts are open through March 1, then voting will be open March 10 through March 17, leading up to the much-anticipated winner reveal on March 23. The new Cadbury bunny will grace screens across America as the new star of the iconic Cadbury Clucking Bunny commercials. The winner will also receive a $5,000 cash prize. And to give back to the animals who have brought us so much joy over the past year, Cadbury will continue its work with the ASPCA. This is the third year of this partnership, and Cadbury will be making a $15,000 donation to the ASPCA to further their mission of protecting and caring for animals. Feb. 20: National Love Your Pet Day

Obviously, we love our pets EVERY day! So it makes sense to commemorate our beloved companions with a special day of their own. Give your cat a little extra affection and pampering today to show them how much you love them.

Feb. 23: World Spay Day

Created by the Doris Day Animal League in 1995 as Spay Day USA, this day is meant to spread awareness about the importance of spay/neuter. There are so many benefits to spaying/neutering your pet: it improves his health and longevity; helps curb unwanted behaviors, like spraying and roaming; and helps reduce homeless pet overpopulation. You can help spread the word by promoting spay/neuter programs on social media using the hashtag #worldspayday. Learn more at dorisdayanimalfoundation.org/work/world-spay-day.

Feb. 26: Tom and Jerry – the Movie

One of the most beloved rivalries in history continues in this eye-popping blend of classic animation and live action. When Jerry moves into New York City’s finest hotel on the eve of “the wedding of the century,” the event’s planner is desperate to get rid of him, so, of course, Tom gets the job! But the ensuing cat and mouse battle threatens to destroy her career, the wedding and maybe even the hotel itself. To add to the chaos, a diabolically ambitious staffer conspires against all three of them, which forces the cat-and-mouse duo to do the unthinkable – work together to save the day. Directed by Tim Story, the movie stars Chloe Grace Moretz, Michael Pena, Rob Delaney, Colin Jost and Ken Jeong, and is slated for release on Feb. 26, 2021. Check out the trailer here.
