uahpet Zero Cordless Water Fountain Review 2025: Pros, Cons, & Verdict

uahpet Zero Cordless Water Fountain Review

Review Summary

Our Final Verdict

We give uahpet Zero Cordless Water Fountain a rating of 3.9 out of 5 stars.

Battery Life: 4/5
Pump Life: 2.5/5
Ease of Use: 4/5
Price: 3.5/5

If you’re trying to get your cat to drink more water, you know that moving water can entice the cat to do so. Instead of letting your cat drink from the faucet while you brush your teeth, though, you could invest in a water fountain. While water fountains are a fantastic idea for most cat parents, many dislike the cords that come with them because they can pose a risk of tripping, among other dangers.

That’s where the uahpet Zero Cordless Water Fountain comes in! This fountain has no cord, making it a perfect option for cat parents. It also has a 6-layer filtration system to keep water sparkling clean. However, this fountain is a bit noisier than advertised (though it’s still relatively quiet).

uahpet makes several water fountains for cats and dogs, so they have a pretty good idea of what they’re doing, but there’s still room for improvement.

Ease of Assembly

One aspect of this water fountain that pet parents loved was how easy it was to put together. This fountain doesn’t have many pieces that need to be fitted together, and the instructions for assembling it are clear. Even changing out the filter on this water fountain was a breeze for most people!

Cleanliness

Its cleanability was something else that received high marks when it came to the uahpet Zero Cordless Water Fountain. Pet parents found this fountain much easier to clean than many other water fountains on the market. They said it was easy to pull apart for cleaning (and, of course, simple to put back together), and there were no crevices in the device that trapped dirt.

It wasn’t just how simple cleaning the fountain was that they liked, though; they also felt that the water in the fountain stayed clean. Some commented on how well the filters caught stray fur and gunk that could dirty the water.

This water fountain also got rave reviews on how it doesn’t splash as much water around on the floor as others do, keeping the area where the fountain is much cleaner.

Amount of Noise

One common complaint for water fountains for pets is that they are noisy, but that didn’t seem to be an issue with this fountain by uahpet. Many people stated that the pump for this water fountain was fairly quiet, so it didn’t bother them as they went about their day-to-day lives. This fountain isn’t totally silent, but what noise it does make is so negligible that most people seem not to notice it for the most part.

Pump Issues

The most significant issue with the uahpet fountain appears to be with the pump. Several people stated that the pump on their fountains stopped working after only 3 months or so, making this a consistent issue. While the company seems to be on top of replacing faulty pumps, the fact that so many have had their pumps up and quit on them in such a short time is concerning.

Recall History

We could not locate any recalls for this product.

What the Users Say

We’ve researched what cat parents have to say about the uahpet Zero Cordless Water Fountain, so you don’t have to. Here are the main things people loved and hated about this water fountain.

As we stated previously, pet parents were big fans of how easy this water fountain was to assemble. They also loved how clean the water was, how well the fountain kept floors clean, and how simple the fountain was to clean itself. Many also had positive comments on how quiet this water fountain is. Other aspects that were positively noted were the lack of a cord, as there was nothing to trip over with this fountain, and the fact you can set it up on motion detector mode or timer mode.

While people loved the motion detector mode on this fountain, some said it was very sensitive, so any time anyone walked close to it, it would start up. This meant the battery needed to be recharged sooner and filters replaced more quickly.

As stated above, the biggest complaint about this water fountain was an issue with the pump quitting after only a few months. However, there were reports of the motion detector sensors malfunctioning by releasing water when no one was near or just flat-out quitting, too. There were minor complaints, as well, as a handful of people weren’t fans of the filters, while a couple of people found the anti-tipping feature on their fountain didn’t work.

So, it seems this fountain is a bit of a mixed bag.

Conclusion

People liked several things about the uahpet Zero Cordless Water Fountain, such as the ease of assembly and cleaning, the quietness of the pump, and how clean the water was. However, there seems to be a significant issue with the pump quitting after only a handful of months. While customer service for uahpet appears to be fairly on top of replacing pumps for people, the fact this seems to be a common occurrence is a red flag.

While this water fountain could work for some, you may want to look around at other water fountains before deciding what to get.
