4 Cute Ragdoll kittens on silver blue background fabric

Catster advocates for adopting before shopping, though we fully understand there are many reasons for seeking a breeder. So, we encourage it to be done the right way. We have not personally visited or investigated all of the breeders below. We have put the top-recommended all in one place for you to get in touch and make the best decision for you. Learn more about our stance and how to choose the right breeder here.

The Ragdoll is one of the largest cat breeds. While being docile and even-tempered, these cats are also strikingly beautiful thanks to their blue eyes and gorgeous coats. This cute cat is even known for going limp when being picked up, which is where they got their name.

While a popular breed for both pets and shows, you’ll find only a handful of ethical breeders in Kentucky. If you are local to the Kentucky area and feel the need to bring a Ragdoll cat home as part of your family, here’s a look at six Ragdoll breeders in Kentucky who can help make your dreams come true.

Each kitten is a double negative for HCM and PKD1, which are both genetically inherited. This breeder is a member of TICA and ensures each kitten is TICA-certified before leaving for a new home. This breeder also provides door-to-door delivery in some parts of the United States.
