To the delight of cat lovers and cat advocates everywhere, Animal Planet’s series My Cat from Hell is going to be back for another season. And this time, my favorite tattooed cat-daddy is going to take his fabulous guitar case to New York, too.

The show is currently casting for season 3, and Jackson and Co. are looking for more cats with severe behavioral problems. If you’ve got a cat that’s driving you and everyone else you know crazy; if you’ve got a cat that yowls and howls all night or attacks you without the slightest provocation, a cat who destroys your furniture and everything around her, or who is a hardcore escape artist — or whatever! — contact the casting company and see if they’ll send Jackson Galaxy to work his famous mojo in your home.

If you need Galaxy’s help, e-mail hellcatcasting@gmail.com. Include your name, age, city, contact phone number, and who you live with, and write about your cat and how his or her behavior is affecting your life and/or relationships. Also include your cat’s name, age, breed, where you got the cat, and a detailed description of your cat’s behavioral problems and why you’re at your wits’ end.

And, of course, since it’s a TV show, they also want photos of you, your family members, and your cat. For more information, check out this website. (Yes, it says “must live in the Los Angeles area,” but the press release says they’re looking for cats in the NYC area, too.)

I’ll tell you what: if I had a “cat from hell” and I lived near L.A. or New York, I’d be all over this. It could be the chance of a lifetime — and a chance to save your cat’s life.
