all cat food is beloved by James. He does not like people food except nacho cheese sauce and sour cream.

Skills:
James has lost almost 7 pounds on his diet. He used to weigh over 27 lbs! He has been very good and is almost down to 19 lbs.

Arrival Story:
I was with my brother at a pet store to buy fish food for his aquarium and a woman came in the store with a box of cats she had found under her trailer and wanted to give them to the pet store. The pet store did not want the kittens and one of them caught my eye and when I petted him he clung to me and would not let go! He was so tiny he looked like a small peach, which is how he got the name James. He was very malnourished and had to be hand fed for quite awhile. You can see he doesn't suffer from that anymore!

Bio:
James is extremely needy for affection and must be near us at all times. It took several years for him to accept my (now) husband! The first time my (now)husband spent the night, James peed all over his clothing. He is a jealous boy, but they get along pretty well now. James also has allergies, the vet thinks that he is allergic to pollen and/or mold. Try avoiding that even indoors in South Florida! So he makes regular visits to the vets for treatments, and when he chews himself up really bad, he has to wear the dreaded Cone of Silence, which he HATES. Poor little guy! I'll post some of those pictures here soon, even though it would embarrass him to death! :)
