My cousin is moving and cannot take her kitty with her. I am very sad about the whole thing and I am trying to help this sweetie pie find a home. I wish I could take him, but my cat has an illness that could be contagious.

Bio:
Dominic is approx 5 years old. He is mellow, very affectionate, and has impeccable litter box habits. He showed up on my cousins doorstep about 3 years ago and adopted her, so I guess he didn't like his prior owner. He was indoor/outdoor for a time, but has been converted to an indoor cat now. He is declawed and in excellent health. One more thing..Domi might be better off being an "only child" unless you are patient and willing to go through the introduction process. If you want to adopt this sweet loverboy, email NICOLE4874@aol.com.

Hi Catster friends...It's me Domi! I am happy to report that things are going great in Canada. I have settled into my new home...I feel so loved and wanted. My Auntie Nicky really misses me though and wished I could have been closer. Oh well..The important thing is that I am in a wonderful home. I will post some new pics soon!
Hugs and Kisses,
Domi

I am being adopted AGAIN...GRRR

Hi Catster friends..It's me Domi..I have a bittersweet update for everyone. The "forever" home I was placed in back in October wasn't forever after all. A new baby entered their lives and they decided I had to go. Thankfully, Auntie Nicole came to my rescue again. I am now living with my Auntie Nicole's friend Linda for the second time, and will be moving to Canada at the end of this month. I had lost some weight while in my prior home so Auntie Nicole believes I was unhappy there. I have been with Auntie Linda for 3 weeks now and I have gained back the weight I lost and feel pretty good.

Catster friends, please pray that this move to Canada will be my final and forever home! Auntie Nicole thought she screened my prior adopters well, but one never knows. I am going to be moving in with an older lady (NO BABIES WILL BE JOINING THIS HOUSEHOLD) who has been wanting a kitty to love for sometime. I really hope we will hit it off! I will keep you all posted. Hugs and Kisses,
Domi

I Love My New Home!

Hi Catster friends,
I want you to know that I have settled into my new home quite well. I had been through a really rough time before I moved here and I really haven't said much about that, but I will share my story now.

I was placed for adoption because my former Meowmy moved in with her new boyfriend and didn't take me with her. He is allergic to cats and didn't want to try medication, so she decided to get rid of me, her faithful companion for the past 3 years. For a few months, I was all alone in her house. I would only see her on weekends when she came home to fill up the food dishes and clean my litter. That's it. When my Auntie Nicole found out about that, she was very upset and tried to visit me as much as possible. It brought tears to her eyes every time she had to leave me, as I would start meowing and basically throw myself at her feet. I was an emotional wreck. Eventually, it got to the point where she couldn't stand to see me like that, so she decided to take me over to her friend Linda's home while the search for my new family continued. I settled into Linda's home in a matter of DAYS! I loved the fact that I had regular human contact again and I prayed every night that Linda would keep me forever! Problem was, Linda had never had a kitty before and although she enjoyed my antics, she wasn't 100% sure she could make a life long commitment to keep me. Well..before Linda could make up her mind about me, my Auntie Nicole found someone that wanted me. They saw my Catster page and wanted to meet me. When they came over to Linda's to meet me, they fell in love instantly and decided they were going to take me home right then and there... I was a bit frazzled as I just got settled with Linda and here I was being moved again!

I forgot to mention that a few weeks before I was taken to Linda's, I was taken to another house with lots of unfriendly cats. I was only there for 48 hours and those folks decided they didn't want to keep me as I wasn't getting along with their cats. Can you imagine that? They didn't introduce me to the rest of the household properly and expected everything to be fine and dandy in two days! They said I hid behind the fridge while I was there..I wonder why? I was glad to be outta there quickly!

I have been in my new home for over a month now and I love it. The kids are always playing with me or giving me affection. My new meowmy has given me free run of the master bedroom and I sleep with her every night. Life is great. It's especially nice to feel wanted again. I hope all the kitties that are in need of homes, will be as lucky as I have been, and find loving FOREVER homes.

The lesson I want everyone to learn from my story is this...Please give it serious consideration before you bring a new pet into your life. We aren't disposable and we don't appreciate being treated like an inconvenience when you no longer need us. We suffer terribly when we are passed around like objects, or worse, kicked out on the streets to fend for ourselves. Just remember, you always reap what you sow! And that's all I have to say on this topic!

Purrs and kisses,
Domi
