Any toy that makes him chase and jump. He has a favorite chew toy.........My Chin!
Favorite Nap Spot:
Any sort of box or small enclosed spacea, he also likes to lay on hard, smooth surfaces. he sleeps like a log.
Favorite Food:
Not picky we try and alternate between dry, raw and soft.
Skills:
He's graceful and very agile. He can jump like NO OTHER, he just hangs in the air. It's amazing and hilarious. He's very smart and inquisitive on top of being tenacious. So if he wants to get to a certain location...HE DOES.

Arrival Story:
We were fostering 12 kittens from two litters from 2 feral sistes. Syd was, from day 1 obviously gonna be the hardest to get socialized. Turns out he's well socialized it's just that he's genetically a hell raiser. It's truly just a part of his personality, take it or leave it. We decided to take it. Turns out he's also the biggest love and despite the tough guy exterior, he also has a fiercely lovable, sweet side and he's made the phrase "scaredy cat" make so much sense especially when it comes to anything unpleasant or new i.e. baths or shots ( he digs in his claws and goes completely stiff or flips around spaztically, bouncing off the walls.) Anyway his foster father took a real liking to him, he said he reminded him of a cat he loved growing up named Claw (apparently this beloved claw would wake you up with a hook to the nostril...awww darling!) They go everywhere in the car together and hang out in the garage, ya know guy stuff. Needless to say our fostering of Syd has turned to adoption. The two are inseperable. Oh a man and his cat.......what more is there to say.

Well little Bubby turns ONE today and in that short amount of time it's hard to believe all the changes we've seen and we like to think have helped Syd develop into the amazing cat he was born to be! He is smart, smart, smart. He is sweet and furocious and endearing and grumpy and athletic and playful and silly and gorgeous and totally unique. I thank Erick so much for seeing in Syd what nobody else did and that he is in our lives. I couldn't imagine it without him. People seem astounished when we go cruising the pet store with Syd in tow, chillin in our arms and over the fact that he LOVES going in the car for rides. Loves is an understatement. If we get home to soon and he hasn't had his agreeable alotted amount of time out and about, he WILL NOT get out of the car. Try and pick him up and he'll not so nicely let you know that he's not ready. We have to go in and unload whatever and go back out to see if it's OK for him to come in now. Luckily we live in mild temperatures so most of the year this will be ok. I'm afraid of what will happen this summer when Syd won't be able to go in the car as much. He tends to be a little troublmaker if he doesn't get to go on a regular basis. Starting fights with the other cats, knocking over garbage cans and not yet empty soda cans while giving us a look as if to say either"did I do that? or "what are you gonna do about it?" Needless to say he's a real corker and I can't wait to see what's next with him. Happy Birthday Syd Vash Handsome Johnson. You are my sweet bubby, my little handsome monster. And worth every scar:)
