Arrival Story:
She was found in an engine compartment, & had been there for 3-4 days. The shop owners dog kept going to the car & looking at it. Finally the guy went to check it out & heard this tiny kitten crying. When they finally got her out, She was black with grease so they gave her a bath in Dawn. My friends father-in-law worked next door, so he took her and gave her to my friend & she brought her to our Vet. clinic where we work.
Bio:
My husband had been saying he wanted another kitten. When I came into work Tuesday (6-2-09) there she was. We think she's only about 5-6 weeks old. She still looks a little greasy around her head, but she is so tiny I'm afraid to give her another bath just yet. I set up a house for her in my dog kennel for now until everyone gets used to her. I don't want her to be frightened of my big dogs & they all want to see her CLOSE up!

This summer we moved to my grandpas farmland. It was so much fun except for the burrs that got into my fur. One day I got so many that my mom couldn't brush them out, so she shaved me. "A lion cut" is what she called it. It felt funny to be touched for a while after that & I looked silly. My mom said I had spots on my back, like a leopard & now that my fur is growing back in it's so dark. Not the pale color it used to be, mom says she not sure if it's because I was shaved or if it would have darkened up any. Does anyone out there know?
