Back!

My mom is home! She said she had a pretty rough few days, so she's happy to be home now.

Did you guys see my figures from Tigger's Cat Fun Attic?!?! I hope my pictures uploaded - I have a couple more that didn't, so I'll have to try again after the fleas go away.

They are so cute!! Don't you love me dressed up as a Packer?! Mom is sending that one to my grandpa for his birthday, but we're a little bummed to part with it because it's so awesome.

Hopefully I'll have some more time to spend with my Catster friends now!

YAY!

My friends are back!! Yay!! It's so good to see everyone again! I missed everyone so much while Catster had fleas.

I have a bunch to tell you guys, but it'll have to wait. My mom is dogsitting for the next few days, so she won't be spending much time at home and won't have internet access. And I need to be mad at her for leaving me.

So if you don't see much of me for a little bit, don't worry. I'll be back soon!

I'm noisy! Lately, I've taken to screaming in the morning. Mom's not sure why, but I just want her to get up and give me breakfast!

I usually cover, but sometimes there are more exciting things going on, and I don't have time to cover. Or sometimes mom has company, and then I leave it for all to enjoy.

3. Happy! Favorite Daily Routine?
Snuggling with mom in the morning and getting lots of head and chin skritches.

4. Hiss! Least Favorite Routine?
Having my nails clipped. I once slapped mom for trying.

5. Ding-Dong! What do you think about visitors to your house?
I used to really like them and check out whoever walked through the door, but something's changed recently and now I hide. Mom isn't sure what happened, but she thinks maybe our landlord came in unannounced and scared me.

6. Friends! Do you like other animals?
I'm not sure. I've only met a few other animals, and I'm never around them long enough to decide how I feel.

Hello everybody!

I'm purring for my friends who are in the middle of a heat wave right now. Stay cool kitties! It's been in the low 90s here, and that's miserable, so I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like in other places. I hope everyone is safe and sound!

Summer shopping

Happy July 4th weekend everyone! I hope everyone is staying cool. It's already starting to get pretty warm here, and it's only 9 a.m. It's gonna be a long, hot day.

Here we go again

Hi friends!

Mom's freaking out again - she does this every summer. See, our little apartment can get pretty warm and we don't have AC. And this weekend it's supposed to get to almost 100 degrees! Mom has to work on Monday, and it's supposed to get to 95. Her question is, do you think I'll be OK in the apartment even though it'll get pretty stuffy and hot? She doesn't know what else she can really do. If it weren't the holiday weekend, she might consider getting a hotel room, but everything is booked here. And the kitty spa is probably also booked, plus the stress might not be worth it either.

What do you guys think? What do you do to stay cool in the summer?

Memorial Day and more

Hello all -

I would like to take a minute to thank all the veterans out there for all you do! Mom read a story yesterday that 8 in 10 people don't know the meaning behind Memorial Day. Isn't that sad? I think what you all do is amazing!

Guess what! Today is my 2-year Catster anniversary! I checked out my page, and sure enough - I have two candles on my cake! What a two years it's been! I sure have made some wonderful friends in that time! I didn't do much to celebrate. It was raining again today, so mom and I spent most of the day napping. I guess if I have to choose between snow and rain, I'll take rain - but I'd really like some sun.

If you don't mind, could you spare some purrs for the people in Montana, Idaho and North Dakota who are about to get flooded? My grandparents live in Montana, and they said it's unbelievable how high and fast the Yellowstone River is going, and it's been raining nonstop. To make matters worse, because it's been so cool, none of the snowpack has melted, which means there will be even more water coming soon! My grandma said that they got more rain in a month than they usually get in an entire year!

Well, I'm off for some more napping! Later friends!

Indy, one of my greatest pals on Catster, has gone to the bridge. It was very sudden, and I know his mom's heart is breaking.

Indy - I'm going to miss you so much. You always had the nicest things to say to me.

I'm too sad to write any more. :(
