Arrival Story:
Cupcake was one of two feral kittens eating at a colony feeding station where I work. He and his brother, Hero (Nin) are the sweetest cats ever. They were very sick for months and had to be isolated from the other fosters we had. In fact they spent a month or more in cages, taking medicine and eating special food. Every day I held them in an old rocking chair, each one for awhile. They were held and loved and rocked. Still, they had to be socialized once they recovered, and O'Malley Alley Cats had so many other kittens for adoption that year...after many months of showing at the adoptathons and being listed on PetFinder, they found their forever home - my husband & I adopted them! They are the sweetest lap cats. Nin is mine and Cupcake is my husband's. The photo I included is Cupcake in "Daddy's chair". They get along well with our other cats, and look puzzled when I say they are "former ferals".
