Arrival Story:
This beautiful orange boy started coming around last fall 2008. He was very friendly and seemed very hungry. I started feeding him twice a day and he always came around. He would sometimes be gone for 2 to 5 days but would always come back. March 2009 4th week my lanai was going to be re-screened and I know people at the local shelter. They encouraged me to bring him in so he could find a forever home. After a week they tested him and he was FIV positive and they euthanized him. To say I was and still am devastated is an understatement. Now I do not know if I did the right thing or not...it sures feels wrong. I wanted to honor this gentle boy and put him here so others would know what a sweet and kind kitty he was. My heart is broken.
