Hi my friends, I am just hanging out and enjoying Mom being home especially on the weekends when I get on her lap, then I sleep and sleep.

Hanging out with Kody he is my buddy most of the time, except when he decides to attack me 5am in the morning, how dare he do that, doesn't he know we sleep in...the nerve of that little dude.

I love to watch him run around and be crazy...he is do funny!!! very entertaining I might say...

Mom has noticed now that I am 11 I have slowed down some and I sleep a little more. She does worry about me and told me I will be next to go to the vet for my check up. She wants my vet to check my lungs and breathing to make sure I am doing Ok. Mom did have to give me medication after Christmas I was starting to get sick, so I got homeopathic stuff for my nose and breathing, echinacea/goldenseal...it sure helped and I didn't have to go to the vet.

Now Mom is keeping an eye on me because Dad told her this morning that he has seen me twice now have trouble with my rear right leg, it gives out a little, now Mom hasn't seen that yet...if she sees it guess I will be making a trip to the vet.

Mom also has noticed that my fur is getting more matted near my back legs and underneath...I have very fine soft fur....I have never been good at grooming...my first Mom didn't show me much I was abandoned too young to learn. So now Mom is having to brush me more and get ride of the mats...not a happy boy when she does that.

Spending time with Xena and Kody outside especially that last few days with the great warm weather we are having...and spending time in my heated bed.

Well it is my catnap time so talk later

I'm slowing down a little too now that I'm older. I figure we've earned the extra nap time!

I've slowed down too and I'm just a snuggler now! I like getting groomed..it makes me feel like the KING I am..

You are all right we deserve that extra time to catnap...grooming I never really liked grooming myself, but I sure like Mom to groom me. She now has to spend more time brushing me and getting the mates out.

I have always been a lover boy especially with Mom, the weekends are my time to get on Mom I can't wait for the weekends.

Yes we all do slow down when we get older....it makes Mom sad but then I do have enough energy to play with Tu and Kody

Well I think you are handsomer than any kit around Zekie. I hope you do not have any problems with your leg. Sending you sweet warm purrs from a VERY VERY COLD Chicagoland. I sat on the little table on the nice warm rug in the sun & watched the snow flurries from INSIDE!!

Hi my sweetie Maizy, thank you for thinking I am more handsome than other kitties....

Oh my you are watching the snow...we don't get snow here, wanna come here so you will be warmer...Mom got all of us pet heating pads, we love laying in our beds when it is cold...Mom says that is the best money she ever spent on us...

Mom still hasn't seen if my leg gives out, but she is keeping watch when I am out walking around.
